NNNNNNGH daylight savings has mucked me up good. I didn't get nearly as much sleep as I should have. I went in to do life drawing today but I wasn't happy with anything that I did, to the point where I just started doodling random critters because I felt so un-draw-able.

So I also tried to work on that Kipper model, only the computer was being unbearably slow, and then after doing an export/import of the armor and making some adjustments, I realized that I had lost all of those beautiful UVs that I spent forever on gaaaaaah! So I don't know if I'm even going to bother texturing it. If that's the case, it might be done as is:

ONE good point, though, I found my missing black bag with the paints in it! Hooray! I would seriously have cried if I lost all of those paints and brushes.

Also, I really want to go get HeartGold, but I don't feel at all justified buying it when I just got FFXIII and I have so much stuff to do otherwise. 8( So I guess I'll have to wait on the shiny new Pokemons, sob.


Don't like having the drawing dumps, soooo I think it's time for another request thread:
Ask me to draw anything or anyone at all, and I will. The only catch is that I will draw it on the same page as everything else requested here, and post that page when it's full (or when I run out of requests.) And I reserve the right to refuse a request and ask that you try again. Other than that, anything can be asked for!

Spent six hours today just doing the UVs for Kipper's armor, but at least that should be done now. @_@ And after playing Uncharted 2, I am realizing that my ruins model is too simplistic. I'm not sure whether I should go back in and change it more, or else just start an entirely new model. I've got enough pics of abandoned places I can work from, but still...

Also did some more life drawing stuff today. I wasn't as happy with this week as I was last week, except the last one turned out decent.

First off, just wanna give big hugs to much of my flist. I know a bunch of people are going through really tough stuff right now, and if I could, I'd go around to everyone and make everything better! But that would require cloning myself, time travel and possible armed robbery, none of which are things I'm terribly good at. So I just want to say that I'm thinking of you all. ♥

I've been pretty busy with school-related stuff, so have a schoolwork dump and babble ( now LJ-cutted for your convenience. )

New Lunargyros page from yesterday, yo. The Mean Girls are baaack! (And corrielle, I pimped your reading material. XD)

Yesterday our class also went to EA for lunch. It turns out that we didn't get to see much of the actual offices, because they were holding some kind of gaming conference and apparently we weren't allowed in the area we wanted to tour. D: Dang! I may or may not return for the "other" tour next week. Either way, we ate lunch in their cafeteria (pretty good food for a reasonable price!) and wandered around the lounge, the gift shop and the outdoor areas. They had a bunch of video games up for playage (mostly Golf and their Medal of Honor series) and people spent a lot of time in the gift shop buying new and just-released games for cheap. None of their games really interested me (most were for XBox anyway, which I don't own,) so I didn't buy anything. Except they had a Fawkes plushie and a plushie of the Monster Book of Monsters from Prisoner of Azkaban, so I wanted those. XD;

The grounds also included a fountain to relax by, a gym where you can play video games while on the treadmill (BEST IDEA EVAR) and a volleyball pit and soccer field. Holy cow, those EA guys are sitting pretty! I totally want to work someplace that knows to treat its employees as more than hunks of meat. Haha, yeah, good luck with that.

Also, our teacher's six-year-old son was awful cute. ♥

And since we just had our last surface modeling class, the model for the Strahl is OFFICIALLY DONE:

Otherwise...gettin' up early tomorrow to take some operator shifts and make a smidge of monies. Just like old times!
