Just FYI for friends: yes we live on the coast, but my family and me are fine. I think the tsunami wave was only supposed to be about 3-4 feet high by the time it got here, and that's not going to be an issue unless you're actually on the beach. So we are all okay.

But man, my heart totally goes out to everyone in Japan. DDDD: The news out of there is just awful!


Also, more FYI: I may not be around as much this next week; got a massive huge project that came up suddenly and that I really need to get done. @_@

OMFG you guys it is seriously the most gorgeous day outside. There's not a cloud in the sky, I could totally see Catalina across the ocean, there's birds chirping, and there were lots of fat lizards out enjoying the sun. I wish I had a swimsuit, it's a perfect day to go swimming.

Speaking of...does anyone who lives nearby want to go swimsuit shopping with me sometime this week? (Particularly if you know where to find suits in Short Nerdy Loser size?) I hate hate hate hate hate hate swimsuit shopping with the passion of a thousand fiery suns, but I would be willing to even put up with that if the weather continues like this.

I absolutely, positively hate hate hate hate hate haaaaate the sound of strong wind!
