This playage of Days will probably long and sporadic, since I'm still tagging DC inbetween running around doing missions with Roxas. I needs me a bit of silliness for fandom, since yesterday I seriously burst into tears every time we tagged to that Sora and Roxas thread. So, so much bawling going around. I still need to do that introspection post maybe some more art.

Stopping right now because it's OH GOD DAISYCHAIN'S FINAL DAY OF ENDGAME. I can't believe we've actually made it to this point, and that it really is ending. ;_; I was going to, like...write up a long introspection post on Daisychain, on everyone I've met there, on how much fun I've had, on what I've learned about modship and RP and communities, about how it's made me think about the characters I've played. But really, Kia said it better than I ever could here.

Maybe I will write something more on it, in the future, when I've had some time to think about it. Gonna go snuffle now. ;~;

Huh, 'bout time I say something or other, I suppose! I've been fairly boring the past few days, doing mostly drawing, drawing, some RP, drawing, some Pokemons, and more drawing. And most of the drawing is just craptons of practice scribbles, which isn't really worth sharing. But here's a few things! :O

OOF well, bunches of things have happened lately! (For given values of My Boring Life, anyway. XD)

- OMG DC ENDGAME AAAAH ENDGAME AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH *runs around bwahaha* And it's going OSSM SO FAR. It's also taking up lots of my time, BUT THAT'S OKAY BECAUSE ENDGAME. I need to do some arts for it.
- The new stuff out for KH:BBS just makes me all the more excited. 8D Trailers yessssss! If only we didn't have to wait until next year for the game...
- Finished the Ansem model, finally. There's still some mistakes to it/things I would have done differently/etc., but overall it was nice to model again. I probably will make a tutorial for it, even with the mistakes and stuff. Learn by learning and all that.
- On Friday I actually ended up being a guest critiquer for Andillon's Visual Structure class, which I took back in late 2007. It was really strange being on the other end of the critique, especially having taken the class myself. A lot of the projects were really good, but you could tell how nervous some of the students were! From this experience, I have also learned that about 40% of critique is BSing. 8D; At least it is when I try it.
- Yesterday aside from class, I also caught the latter half of the presentation on 9. Ffffff I can't wait to see the movie on Wednesday; hopefully going with friends from school. Also, I have discovered a scarier monster than the cat skull robot. Daaang, this movie will look awesome but also scare the crap out of me. After that, I went over to the gallery opening for the film, where they had tons of the concept art, texture comparisons, and even the entire color script. o_o (lol spoilers oops) The art just looked so amazing.
- I HAVE MY SWIMSUIT NOW. Anyone at the New House Of Fandom: do you guys have free days sometime during the week? :D

I'm trying to use the motivation/inspiration I got from Comic Con and the cool people I met, like Glen Keane and Pascal, to my advantage as much as possible and keep expanding on the art front. Because dangit, I need to keep improving! I'm considering starting some kind of sketch-a-day routine to keep myself at it (even though actually I should be doing more than just a sketch a day, at least that far is a better start). But right now, some stuff I did yesterday:

Last night I went with McFate Sister ghettopeach for a bite to eat at the great seafood place, then over to see my little brother at his high school rendition of Sweeny Todd. I've actually never seen the play or the movie before, so it was all new. And it was quite a bit of fun! The girl who played Ms. Lovett totally stole the show; she was cracking me up. My little brother played Beadle, and he was totally hamming it up the whole performance, which really is what he does best. He also had to fall on his elbow when he died. He's been doing this for the past week or two for rehearsals, so now his arm is funny colors and needs to be soothed with a heating pad. :| Just as long as he doesn't break the dang thing in the name of art.

Also, the razors that were used during the show actually belong to my little brother, since he has a straight-edge razor like Sweeny uses. Go figure!


I was gonna type up some introspective thoughts thing about RP, but ehh, I don't feel like it now. So HAVE THIS NIFTY MEME INSTEAD that I nabbed from aishiteru.

My drawing day yesterday was pretty successful! I went all sorts of places and got about 10 pages of sketching out of it!

I stopped by Gnomon this afternoon and while John's class wasn't going for me to sneak into, I did notice that they'd upgraded some of the labs! New monitors in two of the labs that had really godawful, eye-burning monitors. And someone put the big Princess Leia statue in Lab 1, lawls...like, right in the center of all the computers.

Someone made a really really nice RP!Secret about me and aaaaaah! 8O Totally made my day! ♥♥

And then pretty much right after seeing that I met up with bunches of Gnomon friends that I haven't seen in weeks and we went to Saddle Ranch at the Universal Citywalk. Never been there before, and the food was pretty good! Got stuffed halfway through so I had to take the rest home. Didn't get any alcohol myself, but they had these shots there called "Bloody Smurfs." Apparently tasted like Kool-Aid. A few of the boys got kinda tipsy, but unfortunately we didn't go and do the mechanical bull (mostly because dinner took about three hours to do and we were all starting to feel conked out).

And after dinner we stopped by the ginormous candy store on the Citywalk and I got a big bag of gummies and sweets that should last me a few days.


So yeah. Good day today. :D

Lately I've been having ADVENTURES IN COOKING. As per agreement, I am cooking dinner once a week. This is quite a feat for me, as I hate cooking. So far my experiments have been a success! I've been cooking out of this Disneyland Resort gourmet cookbook, so that helps motivate me. Tonight I made this kind of coconut butter shrimp and it was pretty good. However, I think it would've been better if I'd grilled it instead of broiling it. Of course, this requires me to get over my fear of grills, which requires me to get over my fear of fire. :/a Hmmm.

Guhhhh, I feel like I'm in this weird state of being where I'm not really aware of the passage of time. I mean, Comic Con's only two weeks away! My birthday's less than a week away. o_o The only thing I know I'm doing for the former is driving places and hopefully meeting people and likely the Disney panel. I have NO clue what I'm doing for the latter! Does anyone wanna do something with me next Wednesday or Saturday/Sunday? ;_;

That, and term seven had their graduation ceremony yesterday (while I was still in class) and just kinda put into perspective that my graduation is soon. ._. I mean, you say "December" and it sounds like far away, but really it's not so much...

Um anyway! Have another daisychainrpg doodle that I did yesterday during class because I couldn't focus well and we had a sub anyway. Done in Photoshop in about an hour and a half~

I am fast rediscovering just how awesome ballpoint pens are to draw with. I used to all the time when I was in high school, then I stopped for some reason. Why? It's like having all the sketchiness of a pencil with all the strength of an ink pen. I need to get me more ballpoint pens (as well as more regular ink pens, because argh, running out...)

ALSO, Cloverfield is out on DVD today, with super-extra-different endings or something! :O I need to go get me a copy tomorrow, I think! And to celebrate Cloverfield on DVD, have some random daisychainrpg doodles.
...Okay actually I just doodled these during class because I was bored, but you can PRETEND they're to celebrate a DVD release. Yes.

Hope everyone's April Fool's Day was full of lulz and not annoyances! I would've done a prank here or at KHFFR if, uh, I'd had any prank ideas at all. D: *fails a lot* Instead, I just have a new Lunargyros page! It's not a Rickroll, either. In fact, it's the OMG 100th PAAAAAGE! *celebrations!* Finally done with the pages that suck and on to the pages that suck less! So excited...I've never reached 100 pages of comic before! \o/
