Keepin' this short n' sweet, since I'm supertired and probably won't have time to post tomorrow:
There's a new Lunargyros page up today, and it's the last page of chapter two! Chapter three and all its craziness begins next week...I'm looking forward to it!
So yesterday I actually ignored my work-demanding brain enough to actually take a MUCH-needed break, and it was soooo nice! I slept in past 9:00 (Something I haven't done in ages) Got breakfast and DDR'd, then called over
ghettopeach for spending several hours at the beach! I've got that whole friggin' beach there and I almost never go, so dammit, we went to the beach. I didn't even do life drawing, just relaxed with an Orson Scott Card anthology I hadn't touched in a year, and walked around in the waves. About the only downside to this beach trip was that I somehow missed some spots on my legs when sunscreening, and now there are huge splotches of red on the backs of my legs and they huuuurt like hell. ;_;
After the beach, Kel and I went and ate at Malibu Seafood, which is always an awesome thing because the seafood is fresh and well-priced. SOOOOO GOOD. And then we went back to my place and relaxed in the hot tub for awhile and chatted, then had dinner with my family, and watched the MST of Overdrawn at the Memory Bank. Overall, it was very relaxing, and I need to make the effort to do no-work days more often: they're probably more beneficial for my health than I give them credit for!
But now, it's back to work, and considering I've got 3 final projects left to do that're due next week, I probably will have time for little else... @_@
Have a sketch dump:

The Sentinel waits...for what, I do not know. Mayhaps he is waiting for the bubble gator to bring him a soda, since they seem to be from this same unknown-scifi-looking-universe-wherein-I-make-up-character-design-as-I-go-along. Or maybe he is ready to take on attackers with his power comb.
This I spent most of our last figure drawing session working on, and everyone really seemed to like it. :O The teacher in charge of the animated short even wanted to use it as detail reference for the main character, wewt! (Speaking of, I've got to revise more of those storyboards...)

Random sketch done on Friday, of a creepy hick dude and his creepier dog.

'Nother Friday sketch, mostly of Teo and Lyle. Is his name Lyle? I think it's gone from Evan to Kyle to Lyle since coming up with the vague idea for this story. I need to actually decide on a name. Also, a candy-loving kid.

And then some random doodles on the back of schoolwork; mostly messing around with new styles using PR4 characters.

And finally, a bit more progress on the Strahl model. I wanted to also make it my texturing final, but I don't think I'll be able to finish the model in time to do textures, too. D:
And now, I go to bed. *flops*
Drawing: The usual, I guess? Finished a SoKai pic for b-day presents, too!
Writing: More Lunargyros script
