Massive KH3D Reaction Dump!
As most already know by now, I finished playing Kingdom Hearts 3D this past Sunday! And ohhhh my goodness. THIS GAME.

I know some asked for commentary and don't necessarily follow my plurk, so I linked all of the liveplurks I made while playing. All of my (sometimes often incoherent commentary) is in these! And obviously, all of this post is gonna be full of spoilers...

Start of the game through Riku entering The Grid

Through to both boys in the middle of The Grid

Both boys in the middle of the Grid

Through to both boys in the middle of Prankster's Paradise

Through to both boys starting Country of the Musketeers

Both boys in the middle of Country of the Musketeers

Through the end of Musketeer Country and treasure-hunting

Through Fantasia and starting The World That Never Was

All of endgame and the secret ending

Enough for you?! Too bad, because here's also my usual general thoughts on the game as a whole:

Graphics )

Gameplay )

Characters )

Story )

Considering how much has changed between KH2 and what will be KH3, I don't think anyone going into KH3 will have a clue what is going on. Luckily, this game makes a strong point of serving as a catch-up point for the whole series, giving you plenty of resources to read up on previous games and see how everything ties together. So on the one hand, if anyone wants to get caught up before KH3, this is a great way to do so. On the other hand, if you're the sort that thinks the plot got too convoluted with, say, Days...then yeah, this game will just make it worse on you and you may as well stop now. This series is definitely making a show of GO BIG OR GO HOME, and at this point, I am soooo ready for ALL THE HUGE THINGS coming up. 8D It is going to be INTEEEENSE and I CANNOT WAIT.

But yeah, if you've got a 3DS? Definitely play this one. It's fast, it's fun, it's insane, it's emotional, and gets you totally hyped for the upcoming climax!

Think about it, won't you?
Is this becoming a monthly post thing? Who knows, maybe it is. I really do all of my talking nowadays on plurk; it's just a lot more stress-free for me and the audience seems to be bigger there, so!

On that note, Kingdom Hearts 3D IS OUT TOMORROW AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH! I am going to be getting my copy the moment the store opens. 8D Like how I've done with my playthroughs before, I'll be liveplurking my playthrough of the game on plurk! So if you want to read along to all of my screaming about the game, you can just check here. I am also totally having a party with [personal profile] kiaxet and [personal profile] rasenth! I've made a Meow Wow cake, and will post pictures of it later. XD

Just NNNNGH been waiting forever to play this game, and at last tomorrow it's here!

Otherwise, life has been going okay, although I'll admit I'm not looking forward to the end of summer. I am sad that I missed Comic Con, but will be ready for it next year when it comes around. (Plus, CTN and others will be coming up in November!) Birthday also went great, got to go to Disneyland with a bunch of friends for it! I also got Final Fantasy: Theatrhythm for my birthday, and have been enjoying it a bunch! It is delightfully cute and addictive. XD

But yeah, the next week or so will be spent in total KH geek-out mode. 8D

All right, will end with a whole bunch of LP episodes and art...

Another painting based on a waking-up drawing! Finished this one awhile back. I am feeling better about painting now that I'm getting into a system that's fast and comfortable for me. Except more of these in the future...

Catchup is good on fries
Hey, all! Well, guess I should be getting caught up on all that's gone on the past, oh...three weeks or so? Geez. x_x

I have a personal tumblr now! If you want to follow me, it's right here. Expect most of the same stuff I post to my dA, but now in convenient tumblr form.

Went to AM2 Convention in Anaheim last weekend, where I tabled with Rasenth and had [personal profile] kiaxet As my awesome helper! All in all, sales were...pretty meh. :| A lot of people stopped to look at things, but not nearly enough buyers. It may have been because it was a free con, and most of the people showing up there were either broke or saving their money for Anime Expo in a few weeks. The Artist's Alley there was huge...bigger even than the Exhibit Hall, I think. There was also a live band there a lot of the time, and that was frankly really dang annoying. The acoustic guitar or singer people were fine, but anyone there using the amps/drums was so dang loud that you couldn't even hear a customer across the table. As a result of the con, I have a bunch of leftover Dissidia pony buttons available for sale, plus some custom-painted ponies! More on that below.

On the plus sides, I did do a couple of commissions and actually sell five copies of Lunargyros, which was more than I was expecting to! Also, just hanging out with Razzy and Kia was a lot of fun, since we spent most of the time totally geeking out over Kingdom Hearts. Our table was KH-central. Sooo looking forward to more geekery in the future!

Last night I went and saw Brave at the El Capitan with Kia, and it was a lot of fun! It was a good movie most definitely, with some beautiful scenery, and proof positive that Pixar has at last figured out hair. However, there was something really...different about it from the usual Pixar fare. It felt more like a Disney movie than a Pixar movie, just in terms of the animation style, the pacing, and the action. The art was beautiful, but the story was...hmm, not exactly what I was expecting, either. Maybe I was expecting a little more of the heavy mysticism, like in The Secret of Kells. This movie is primarily a mother and daughter story. It's kind of hard to put my finger on it. It was good, but I don't think it was one of Pixar's best.

The KH3D demo was released on Thursday, and OMG I NEED THIS GAME NOWWWWWWW. There wasn't nearly enough demo for my tastes! That game was seriously just a lot of fun in terms of gameplay, and Sora was squishy and adorable even for the one scene he had, and NNNNGH. IT NEEDS TO BE THE END OF JULY NOW SO I CAN PLAY THIS THINNNGGGG.

In general, work's been kinda slow. The freelance project I'm on is sort of on hold, at least for my portion of it, but I'm hoping it'll pick up more in the near future. I'm going to have a lot of extra time in July it looks like, so I'd like to be spending that time on some money-making ventures...especially since I guess Comic Con isn't happening. :P Oh well, time to maybe do more for my birthday, then.

And as a final thing...I have both extra painted ponies, and extra buttons for sale! Please check them on out! :D

Here are button versions of all the Final Fantasy Dissidia ponies!

- $2.00 each!
- Three for $5.00!
- If you want a full set of Cosmos, Chaos, 012 or all, that can be negotiated!
- No extra cost for shipping!

And here are all the custom-painted fandom ponies! These include Kingdom Hearts 2, Birth by Sleep, various Final Fantasy, and The Hunger Games.

- $25.00 each! This INCLUDES the cost of shipping.
- Three for $60.00! Again, cost of shipping is included.
- Prices are as such since each pony is hand-painted, and only one or two of each exist as is. You're getting a unique pony!
- As it stands right now, here are the ponies available:
-- Sora - 1
-- Riku - 2
-- Kairi - 2
-- Terra - 1
-- Aqua - Sold Out
-- Ventus - 1
-- Katniss - 1
-- Peeta - 1
-- Gale - 1
-- Cecil - 1
-- Tifa - 2
-- Cloud - 2
-- Sephiroth - 1
-- Squall - 1
-- Yuna - 1
-- Lightning - 1
- If you would like to commission a pony, feel free to comment to me about it! I can do any character desired.

Aaand since it's been...oh, almost a MONTH or so since last update, beware the massive picture dump:

First and foremost, got a (super late) birthday gift here for the epic [profile] ghettopeach!

May Nay
Man, I am really glad that May is almost over. It's been a pretty crummy month, all things considered, but with some good things here and there. Good things being a bit of work here and there, and going to Disneyland with my little bro. But a large chunk of time -almost two weeks- was spent attempting to fix my broken internet. Yes, it took that long to get it fixed. And really, the only reason it got fixed at all was because we switched to a different ISP. It was kind of nightmarish dealing with that, especially since I know I lost work days because of it, and put a ton of stress on me and my family (since their internet is all based around my computer.) Also, partly because of that, didn't get tickets to Comic Con this year. -_-

But as of today, house will pretty much be to myself for the next six weeks. My little bros will also be around for part of that, but I think it'll still be a lot of the responsibility falling to me. On the flipside, it'll also be nice (and kinda interesting) to effectively have the whole house to myself for that long. We shall see how it goes!

Alrighty, it's time to give you some more LP and art:

First off for arts, this is actually a redoing of an old character from a very old story. I wanted to try and new painting technique, and I'm actually really happy with how it came out! I think I'm finally figuring out painting techniques that work for me. Makes me excited to paint again in the future.

Write the bullet
...Have I seriously not updated this journal since April? Geeeebus. I think I'm just going to take everything in bullet points because I'm too tired to go into deep analysis on things before getting to the LP and art dump part of this post.

- The biggest thing here is that my grandpa passed away this last weekend, after a decade-long battle with Alzheimers. This is the first time I've ever lost a grandparent. It's funny, but because of the Alzheimers, it kind of feels like he's already been gone for awhile. I am now glad I got to see him last month, but also glad I did not see him in his last days, from the way my mom described how he looked. The memorial service is next week. More than anything, I'm just worried about my mom, who's also been awfully sick since last week, and my dad left for overseas just a day or two before my grandpa died. I'm glad my little bro is coming home this week.

- I feel like I am in a constant flux state of confidence and fear about the future. Sometimes I'll feel fine, and sometimes I'll worry myself silly. I wish I knew what to expect or where I'll be at the end of the year.

- I've been doing some freelance work for a music video, and although it's going slow, I'm enjoying working on it. If I just had more work like this in a constant stream, I'd be doing all right.

- iJAG is going well as always, and I love everyone that's in it. I'm also greatly enjoying some one-on-one RP shenanigans, and it's so great to have both these things to look forward to.

- I am still spoiler-free for KH3D, and honestly looking forward to that game coming out is the one big thing I am anticipating in July...even moreso than Comic Con. I so wish it was coming out in June; that'd be most ideal for me. Just from what everyone's said, I reeeeeally wanna play it.

- I am also still preparing for AM2 Convention in June. To that end, [personal profile] kiaxet and [personal profile] tairako helped me out with making these custom painted ponies:

A PARADE OF PAINTED PONIES )

Now to the art dump part, starting with some more episodes of the LP:

Sophie sleeps all day
Once again, it's been forever since I've updated here. And my excuses are the same...busy with many different projects, mostly checking iJAG for Dreamwidth stuff and Plurk for friend stuff. I'll try to keep up a bit better in the future.

May is going to be an...interesting month. Definitely a busy one in many ways. But for right now, I got a little less than a month's worth of freelance work, which will be real nice. Also, the project itself is actually pretty fun to work on...my kind of aesthetic and such. Hope the finished product turns out well! Mentordude says that work leads to more work, so I definitely hope that's true.

I've got a whole ton of ponies on my desk that I intend to paint and sell for AM2 Convention! I did some test paints for three of them, and they turned out okay! I'm excited for the con...

Also, while I'm still avoiding spoilers completely, I at least listened to some of the songs from KH3D. And...huh, it's a bit different from their normal OSTs, but so far I think this one may be one of my favorites. The songs are just so happy.

Got another dump of LP and arts for ya...

Back in the spoiler bunker
OH GOODNESS but I've been busy around here! There are seriously not enough hours in the day.

Most people know this already, but I'll just reiterate it here again...I am trying to stay SPOILER FREE for KH3D! I know most friends have already spoiled themselves, but I really wanna hold out until I can play the game myself. So please don't go sharin' spoilers with me! I've been good about them so far, unlike with BBS, where I got spoiled for Vanitas without my consent on dA.

IN THE MEANWHILE, I'LL JUST ROLL AROUND AND HOPE THAT SUMMER GETS HERE SOON SO THAT I CAN PLAY IT AAAAAAAAAAH AAAAAAAAAAAAH

This past weekend I was super-busy with a sudden barrage of freelance projects, all of which I thankfully got done on time and to the clients' satisfactions! Had to do a storyboard for a commerical (online commercial, but still) and then a series of stickers, logos, mock sites and more for a music video. If either of those things goes up soon, then I'll link 'em.

Also, on Saturday, I went up to visit my grandma, since she was recovering from a broken wrist and I haven't seen her in awhile besides. It was nice just to hang out with her for awhile and talk, and we also got us some In-N-Out and ice cream. We also went to see my grandpa, and it was...definitely an interesting experience seeing him again, compared to the last time we visited him. I know he didn't recognize me at all, but at least he seemed to smile a bit when I talked to him. I drew him a little sketch just to keep.

OH, something else I just remembered...I got invited, so I'll bet at AM2 Convention in June at an artist's alley table! :D I'll be selling a buncha stuff, including fanart-things and copies of LG...so woot, finally get the chance to do that! I'll probably mention the con again closer to June.

And hey, Kia's computer is working again, so we've got another episode of the Kingdom Hearts 2 Let's Play up!

Super late super short super con report
Wondercon last weekend was a bunch of fun! It was my first time going since it was down in Anaheim this year, and I headed out there with [personal profile] corrielle and [personal profile] kiaxet. We ended up staying in the Hilton...probably the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in for a con. |D All in all, it was like a more chill version of SDCC, and I spent most of my time just hanging out with friends or scouring the exhibit hall. I went to some of the business-related panels, but didn't really hear much new from those (although it was interesting hearing people discuss Wonder Woman's history for her costumes and body shapes.) The panels for Once Upon A Time and Community were a lot of fun to watch. Got to see Pascal, Jean, Axel, Katie, Amy and many others in the hall, which was fun! :D I ended up buying a whole bunch of books from Archaia (they were having a buy two, get three free sale and COULD NOT RESIST THAT), plus a book on color and light by the illustrator of Dinotopia...it's been real useful for working on my painting. If it's in Anaheim again, gotta make sure that I go back to the con next year.

Also been busy this week doing Gnomon Preview Days again, in which I said hi to some old friends there too, and also just working on stuff and the usual job-hunting. I seriously can't believe March is almost over...

In case you haven't seen yet, I've started an askblog on tumblr! It's Ask Master Eraqus, and thusfar it's been a lot of fun to do. XDa Hopefully I can keep up with it!

Week of busy artness
I really need to keep up on my LJ/DW friendslists better; I feel like I'm way behind on those! Just been forgetting to check them on a daily basis...

Anyways, a whole bunch has happened recently! I finally finished all the work for the opera, and then last weekend I got to head up to San Francisco and see it! This was my first time ever heading all the way up to San Fran, and it was a super-long drive by myself. However, upon getting there, everything went pretty well! Got to meet the crew before the show, and everyone really enjoyed the art. This was the first opera I'd ever seen, and it was a lot of fun to watch! Great singing, and the characters and story were funny and entertaining. At the end, I actually went up and took a bow with everyone, which was an interesting experience. XD

After helping everyone clean up the set (since this was at a high school theater; and a really nice one at that) we all went out for dinner at a pub in San Fran, and then I stayed the night with some friends of the art director. They had a really nice place, and I talked some with Arlin, who was big in the solar power business. Although, at like 5:30 in the morning while I was staying there, there was a 4.0 earthquake right in the city where I was staying...definitely felt that one. @_@ However, it doesn't seem like they got any serious damage there, thankfully.

And before heading home, stopped at a famous coffee shop to meet Ryune for breakfast. It was a good meal for cheap, and we had a lot of fun talking for awhile! Although man, driving in San Francisco proper is pretty nerve-wracking. @_@ Also my first time ever crossing the Bay Bridge...it was a toll, but I've never driven across a bridge that huge before.

If you want to see some of the art I did for the opera, you can see the prologue for it here:

Sometime I'll also upload the few photos I took while I was there of the backstage and crew.

Also this week, got to meet John de Lancie to give him a commission of Discord from MLP! :D He was a super nice dude. I'm debating going to the next BronyCon in June since I was invited...it's just a matter of figuring out if I can afford the cost of flying and possibly lodging. This is the original painting of Discord for [profile] ghettopeach that John signed; the commissioned one is a slight variation on this:

And then next weekend I'll be heading off to Wondercon...first time ever at that con; hope it's fun!

Time to flood you with images again
Well, the anticipation thing has been stretched into summer at this point, so I'm not even going to touch on that right now. I'll just say that...yeah, same old song, again.

I'm back to jobhunting again, but some more opportunities have come up, so here's hoping they work out.

Tomorrow I'm driving all the way up to San Francisco to go see The Manga Flute, which I did all the backdrops and the prologue images for. If you're in the area, go check it out! This is my first time heading all the way up to San Fran, especially on my own, so hopefully everything will go well. Because the drive is so long, I won't be back until Monday night or so...will blab about the experience when I return!

Also, I finished another storyboard! :D This is one I've been working on for awhile (since the start of the year) and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out! I wanted to go with a self-contained story, with no dialogue and lots of acting. Actually ended up redoing an old board from years ago. Under the cut is both the paper version, and an animatic version:

Busy busy busy as always, and these next few weeks will be especially intense. x_x I'm hoping for good news at the end of them, but won't go into it much here for now. However, if I don't post again here for awhile, it's because busy-ness has nommed me.

I've had a terrible urge to make an askblog for awhile now, but I just don't know if I've got the time to do it... T_T

Also, in regards to the latest trailer for KH3D? ALL. MY. SCREAMING. IDK if I'll repeat every point here since I already freaked out in plurk when I first saw it, but AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. WANT TO PLAY THE GAME NOOOOOOWWWWWW.

Water, the source of all bad acting
GOODNESS it's been awhile since I've posted. Between my daily schedule and then doing stuff in [community profile] itsjustagamerp, I've been surprisingly busy. Here's where things stand:
- I'm hoping to finish the new storyboard I've been working on next week. It's definitely my longest yet.
- I'm hoping to finish most, if not all of the opera stuff by the end of next week.
- About halfway through the work I've been doing on designs for a social networking game idea; stuff I want to add to the portfolio.
- Applied for about four dozen jobs or so in all of that.
- Finished all the boards and revisions for DSP.
- Finished a couple've smaller commissions.
- Haven't gotten as much done on reindeer story as I've liked, since that's been falling by the wayside for other projects.

And also! Finished a (somewhat late) birthday gift for [personal profile] corrielle! I hope that you like this!

Why should I worry?
I'm going through a whole bunch of anxiety about the future...although a lot of that anxiety will probably kick in later down the road, so IDK if I want to talk about it right now. It will probably come up later in time. I think plurk knows some of that already. :(

Aside from that seemingly-endless worry, I have of course still been busy with art stuff. We'll start with the most recent LP episode, then go into drawings...

I went to Disneyland yesterday, and had a really good drawing day! So, here's a dump of all the life drawing a did, plus a watercolor:

Barreling ahead
So, winter vacation is officially over, aaand I'm trying out my work schedule for the first week. Thusfar, it's working out pretty decent! It's much easier to just put things into one or two-hour chunks and then stop on working on them when I'm done, rather than trying to plow through and rushing things. Hopefully I can keep up the pace, though, and won't be able to post as much art stuff since I'm back at doing some long commission stuff.

Once a day every way
Once again, it's that time for reflection on the year past! ...And once again, I don't really want to stop and do that, because I'd much rather focus on what's coming up ahead. I dunno if it's a good thing or not that I don't stop and reflect on past years much, but considering I don't think this was one of the better ones, I think I'll just move on to new things.

My main "health" goal this year is to eat at least one vegetable every day. Last year, my goal was to give up soda entirely, and I stuck to it! So sticking with something easy, simple and doable seems to work for me...none of this calorie-counting/meat-and-veggie-only diets or whatever. Just at least one vegetable a day!

I've also decided to keep up a particular schedule for my upcoming days of unemployment. Mentordude suggested I do this for another thing that I was having a lot of trouble motivating myself to do, and it ended up working out really well: just devoting an hour (or two) to the task each day, and no more. So here's what I've got planned out for an 8-hour "work day" starting next week:

- 2 hours for actual jobhunting
- 2 hours for working on storyboard projects (I've got one thumbnailed out that I need to start in on)
- 1 hour off for lunch, dishes and walking the doggie
- 1 hour for working on designs for a social networking game idea I want to add to the portfolio
- 1 hour for working on the reindeer story comic (yes, I am going to make it a comic now!)
- 1 hour for various miscellaneous projects that won't take as long, or for drawing practice.

Obviously, that schedule gets put on the wayside when freelance work or other workthings with a due date come up.

Also, I am going to go ahead and block plurk during those "work hours," since I've discovered that it actually is kind of a huge distraction for me. x_x Plurk will then be un-blocked when I'm done with my work hours.

And just because, here's another LP episode from Kia and I, plus some more waking-up drawings:

I'm Game
I'm once again in that kind of do-not-work slump that I tend to hit right at the end of the year, with the expectation that once the new year hits I'll have a full schedule of projects to dive right into. And, at least in this case, I do. |D Even unemployed or underemployed, I never lack something to work on.

Although right now, I've mostly just been playing video games all day, and trying to do it as guilt-free as possible. Since my little bro is here for Christmas and I rarely see him otherwise, we kinda use this as our own hanging-out-time, anyway! I've started Ocarina of Time on the 3DS, which has been a lot of fun so far, even if I fail at a lot of it. (Like throwing bombs...horse-riding...using a shield...etc.) It really is such a lovely game; I can see how it's endured so long. My bro also started me in on Paper Mario while he's here with the Wii, so it looks like I've been doing a bunch of oldschool games. That one is also fun, and ridiculously cute.

However, I caught a bad cold on Christmas Day, and it gave a whole lot of tiredness and stuffy nose-ness. Thankfully, I think I'm getting over it now, and it's not leaving me with a horrible cough or anything.

Also, Sophie is all fresh and clean after a bath, and there was a lovely sunset today!

Now, let's go in for my first post on DW with an art and LP dump...

Three new episodes of the KH2 LP!

We've also got a poll up where you can vote or give thoughts on Kia and I's next LP:

Happened to get a bunch of All Hearts done at once...

All Hearts - Tarzan, Jane, Clayton and Sabor )

And then more waking-up drawings:

The usual Christmas Haul
Whelp, I guess I'll start out a first post here by going into a Christmas haul! XD While I didn't get a lot, I am totally happy with this year since I got most everything I asked for (and it was big stuff too)

- A Nintendo 3DS! AAAAAAAAAAAA YAAAAAAY 8D Now I've got it all ready for KH3D and also the FF rhythm game!
- And in the meanwhile: also got Mario Kart 3D, and Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time! I am so excited to play both!
- A really super cute shirt; it's got a lovely pattern on it.
- Two pairs of new jeans, which yaaay, I really needed
- A pair of fuzzy Christmas socks with penguins on them; so comfy and cute
- The Art of Toy Story 3 yaaaay!
- Movie ticket monies
- New pens
- Pretty much all my favorite candies

Also from friends I got:
- The Lion King on Blu Ray (yaaay!)
- A Pinkie Pie shirt (so cute!)
- Bolt plushie, a Kingdom Hearts pin, and sea salt ice cream!

And then from grandma, I got some nice-smelling lotion, and some cash. Although...grandma has pretty much gotten it into her head that she is going to troll all of her kids and grandkids every Christmas. Last year, she made us hum Christmas carols through kazoos in order to get our presents. This year, we all had to wear Billy Bob fake teeth and sing with them to get gifts. And then the cash we got was inside a glass ball ornament...and we had to figure out on our own how to remove the cash without breaking the ornament. My family can be so weird sometimes.

I hope that everyone celebrating it had an awesome holiday, and I also wish much happiness in the new year! I'm probably gonna go to bed early and get a lot of sleeps since I'm worried that I'm getting sick. XP Woke up with a stuffy nose and it's been dragging me down most of the day, despite fun things.

Also, I should probably figure out how to do a cut here on DW...

Closing Time
Well, I never actually thought I'd get to this point, but like many others, I'm now leaving LiveJournal. Between the layout change, the frequent bugs, the inability to access important functions, the promised "improvements" in a later update, and most especially the dismal customer support and dismissal of legitimate concerns, I don't see much reason to give my money to LJ anymore, whether through paid accounts or ad revenue. So, I'm in the process of phasing out my LJ and moving the journal over to Dreamwidth now.

Regarding KHFFR, SOAS and KH_Het
Considering the fact that KHFFR has been dead on its feet for a long while now, I'm prepared to just turn off moderated members/posting and let it die a natural death. [livejournal.com profile] princealia, [livejournal.com profile] yume_no_kage, if you wanna discuss anything on that with me, then please do. But as for me personally, I have no real vested interest in keeping KHFFR going.

I am actually not the maintainer of Snakes on a Sora, and considering we haven't posted any new sporkings there in a long time, I imagine it will do as it always does and stay there for people to read. I'm not planning for any more sporkings there, though...right now any sporking interest is currently focused on It's Just A Game.

I'm not sure if there's really enough interest in KH_Het ([livejournal.com profile] kh_het has always been a very slow community), but if people actually really want it, I'll be happy to set up a new comm for it on Dreamwidth. Otherwise, it'll do as Snakes on a Sora is doing and stay as is.

Regarding [livejournal.com profile] itsjustagamerp
Don't worry, current and potential Jaggers! We'll be seeing how things go these next few days, and start on decision-making after Christmas. No matter what happens, the game isn't going poof...I've got way too much I want to do in it still for that! ;) But that'll get some discussion a bit later, and over at the actual iJAG comms. Right now, this post is mostly in regards to my personal journal.

I'll still be around a little bit longer as I try to import my entire journal over to Dreamwidth, which I'm sure will take a bit of time as I figure out how the new site works. But starting in 2012, I don't believe I'll be posting here any more. I don't want to lose touch with friends, though, so here's the other places you can keep up with me:

- I am LynxGriffin over on Dreamwidth now, of course!
- My Plurk is where I do most of my talking about ongoing life, work, RP and art things nowadays. My plurk is public and I do not mind people just watching but not friending.
- My DeviantART, where I post most of my artwork, especially fandom-related.
- My Facebook is primarily for friends, family and business contacts. Unlike other places, if I do not already know you there, you won't be added. I don't use my FB much.
- I am also considering getting a Tumblr, but I haven't much gotten around to it yet, and if I did, it'd likely just be for specific projects or art posts.

If you want to follow me, feel free to check those places, and if you're already there, feel free to add me! I'll also post here again when everything's fully moved over and I'm ready to keep on with my stream of LP videos, art and doodles. ;)

Hope everyone who celebrates it has a wonderful Christmas, too!

Your random homicides are beginning to get me slightly peeved
At some point, I suppose I should stop holding it in and make a big ol' post on my thoughts about current things, especially stuff like government. Buuuut I'm having trouble getting around to it, considering it would mostly consist of rage and despair, and I don't much like talking about that in spaces like this. I seem to be of the (perhaps rather unhelpful) mind that if I stick my fingers in my ears and go LA LA LA it'll go away. 8| But yeah. Maybe I will rant on that later.

I'm also rather ehhh at the moment because the job that I had been interviewing for and thought I had a good chance at suddenly went poof. This always seems to happen to me...and I'd be lying if I said that this time I wasn't really disappointed. There's opportunities in the future, but y'know, it'd be really nice if that opportunity came through now for once. -_-

But I still have my friends, and family, and my health, and for all those things I'm grateful.

So, I've got a whole buncha new things both with LP, All Hearts and waking-up drawings to share...

Finished off the rest of the Wonderland characters for All Hearts:

All Hearts - Queen of Hearts, White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat and Doorknob )

A bunch more waking-up drawings!

Under-covers drawings 253-261 )

Drawing: All Hearts, Secret Santa gift, and now reindeer story expression sheets

Writing: Tags and plottings, and reindeer story script...so yes, I've started in on that more.
