Reporting to you live from...
Hey all! Well, I'm pretty much moved into my new room at my parents' place, and I think I just have one or two things left to unpack. There are at least a few good things about moving back...for one thing, I have more than twice the amount of bedroom space I had before. There's plenty of places to hang all of my wallscrolls and posters and fanarts, stack my action figures, and hang my clothes! And yes, plenty of floorspace to draw! (Ha, I almost never draw on an actual desk...)

And while it took awhile to get all of this done yesterday, I also ordered a new TV and a DVD player! :D They're both Samsungs, and the TV is 23" and a flat-screen LCD. My parents just got a DirectBuy account and really wanted to make use of it, so I got the TV and the DVD player for about $750 total! (And that includes taxes and shipping!) Woot! Of course, it'll take about a month for them both to arrive since they're being shipped from the manufacturer itself, but I can be patient. I almost bought a TV stand there, too, but it turns out the shipping for that item was half the cost of the stand itself! What the crap. I can so find something cheaper and easier to transport just around here. But either way: yay, TV that I own for the first time ever! :D

[livejournal.com profile] ghettopeach, I'm sorryyyyy I left the broken chair in the room like that! :( If you want, I can head over sometime and help you guys get rid of it? (and [livejournal.com profile] corrielle, I'll probably bring over my PS2 during that week of AX, if you want to finish FFXII then. XD;)

We'll have to see what the commute time is like from here to school today...

Drawing: Lots to get done! I really gotta make use of this next free week.

It's okay about the chair. I moved it into the kitchen for now, until we call someone to get rid of that and the couch, I guess. Mostly I felt weird because I was expecting you to move on Saturday, but when I came home on Friday, all your stuff was gone. It feels so empty and lonely! But I'm getting used to it. I like being able to turn the lights on and off when I want. ;-)

We should hang out sometime!
