From Europe, with yikes.

So according to IMs and emails this last week, my brother's plane between Vienna and Heidelberg had a bomb threat on it, and my mom almost fell into a pit of lava.

Now I just really feel like the boring one in the family. o_o

Operator status: Fairly busy

According to the email, my parents were visiting Sicily, and one of the places they went to Mt. Etna. I guess it was once a volcano or something, so there was some lava flowing. She says she leaned over to get a picture of the lava and tripped, but luckily they had a guide with quick reflexes.

The sad thing it, I can COMPLETELY see this happening. XD;;;

That would be really scary. O.O I'd probably be spending the next week or go telling random people "I nearly fell in LAVA. *shock*"

I have to say, I'd rather be the boring one than be on a plane with a bomb threat though. Then things get complicated and freaked out.

At least from the way he talked about it, it sounded like more of a pain than anything else. D: They had to fly back to Vienna and then he had to fill out a crapload of paperwork on where he was going, what he was carrying with him, etc. etc.
