...Yeah, that sounds about right.
So it's a big fat up-in-the-air situation as to whether or not we'll even be able to stay in the house next month. With only four of us left in the house, we need a fifth roommate in order to be able to afford rent and utilities and such. While some of us can cover that, others can't. One of the people who expressed interest in moving in isn't able to, and our only other candidate can't get out of Pepperdine's housing contract. So what we're trying to do now is see if we can convince the school to let her out of the contract anyway, using just about any means necessary. She could move in for good starting at the beginning of May, but it's those three months inbetween that are the problem. If the school is still stubborn about the contract, I guess we can try and think of another solution.
I really, REALLY don't want to move, and really, none of us do. It's expensive, tiring and odds are we'd end up in a dinky apartment. Considering the last apartment we were in had cockroaches, shifty management and people riding motorcycles up and down the street at 3 in the morning, I'd rather fight to keep the house we're in now, leaks and all.
I suppose in a worst-case scenario, I have the option of moving back in with my parents. Not that I would mind this much, since I get along with my family quite well. But I'd still prefer living with my friends any day, considering they're practically like my second family that happens to also share my interests and loves. But considering I'm still living off my parents' money (need to eventually get a job that pays more than mere student wages, geez) it seems unfair to ask them to help with moving expenses considering I may end up moving back in to house-sit this coming September. But at the same time, it's just as unfair to force my other roommates into a situation where they'll need to find a reasonable place that's affordable for three people.
Bottom line: I despise moving, and will do anything to avoid it. But more than anything, I wish I knew for certain what our options were, since this kind of maybe-maybe not limbo is even worse.

Sketch of a mer-person-thing from a dream I had a couple nights ago. I tried to draw him as he appeared in the dream, which is why he looks a little funky. He also turned into a human at one point; hence the human form below. I don't know why, but he was a very melancholy mer-person. I think it was something about his people being hunted to extinction or something.
...I've been having REALLY weird dreams lately.
(Looking at it now, I think his forehead's too big.)

Also, I was searching through folders and found this Ender's Game pic from back in November. I intended to color it, but I don't think I'm going to get around to that, so here's just the sketch. It's Ender, Bean and Petra arguing over some battle tactics...or who's turn it is for certain chores. ;P
And...HOLY CRAP.
Remember the remix bridge of "Passion" for KH2? The whole "my heart is a battlefield" part? Well, listen to that section of the song played BACKWARDS. O_O
Operator status: Was busy earlier, but it's quiet now.
Drawing: Well, I heard back from Tim on the two toned pages I sent! Naturally corrections need to be made, but at least I know I'm on the right track now, and the pages I've done so far shouldn't be too difficult to fix. ^^ I want to try and get to toning more of those pages in this week and weekend before school starts in full-force.
Writing: Yesterday I wrote some more on the TP pitch, and I'll try and do more of that today. I think I need to go back and revise the shorter summary so that it's less this-and-this happens, and more about the overall theme. Also, I need to get started on that Narnia puppet show sometime soon.
