Let's get drawin'
Whelp, started in on that large commish project. Hopefully it'll come out okay. I'm trying to make myself take it a little slow, think stuff through. We'll see if I'm successful. @_@

But I have more arts in the meanwhile...

I hiiiiiighly doubt most people will get this, and if you do, you've known me for way too long. Decided to do humanized versions of Fuzzball and his sidekick Big Bear, from my Fuzzball comics. These were comics I did in middle school, which means on top of being really, really silly, they're full of stuff like drawings of my social studies teacher as a mutant, and panels where my friends fall in love with Hanson, because any comic is vastly improved by insertions of your friends falling in love with Hanson.

Oh, middle school!

Someone suggested that I do a gijinka of Way to the Dawn. And hey, why not! They're still fun to do. So, another quickie sketch.

Day 2 - Last Favorite Character

Pffff I don't really have a least favorite character...or rather, I don't have any characters that I dislike. I have some that I love-to-hate, but I dunno if that translates to least favorite? Probably my most love-to-hate character at this point is Xehanort, especially as he is in BBS. The character I care the least about...uhhhhh may have to say Xigbar. (Which is a feat considering Braig is much more interesting.)

YES from long ago! XD (And you know Big Bear is that kind of dumpy but endearing roommate.)

Way to Dawn has Cloud!hair, sort of, doesn't he? (The wings are so cute.)

I like Xigbar a lot, but Braig makes him a million times more interesting. I guess Xigbar is too old to teleport spam quite so much, though, since he's relatively easy to hit.

Yeah, dunno how that happened. XDa (And he has to have wings!)

Braig was definitely really interesting, and perhaps even more of a jerk than Xigbar was, which is saying something 'cause Xigbar was pretty jerkish! (And I thought he was one of the harder Org boss battles in KH2, so I dunno if he got that old!)

I spammed triangle and he died? So I am probably not very objective; a lot of people have told me he's way hard but I've never had a problem with him. Braig is more of a jerk because of the situation and because he is supposed to have emotions so you might expect something like empathy.

(I have lots of epileptic trees about Even, too, which is blah.)

He never actually did me in, but there were a few parts where it came close, especially the "dance, little man!" sequences.

Yeah, it's almost like villains like Xehanort and Braig are worse than villains like Vanitas, because they have the capacity to do good if they really wanted, but instead choose evil, especially in the face of places where they should be empathetic.

Well, and what's worse for me with Xehanort is that you can see where he started, where he was coming from. Whether his theory about Light and Darkness and balance was right or not, his actions weren't terrible when he started out. But then it was one thing, and another, and another, until he just...stopped caring who he hurt to get what he wanted. Up to and including being willing to plunge the universe into Darkness because of curiosity.

I really want to know what the deal is with Braig, though. He doesn't seem like a huge idealist, so I have no idea what he wanted to get out of working with Xehanort in the first place. Unless he just loves to fight and wanted the keyblade wars for that alone.

Yeah, some of his ideas would make sense in a different context...the idea that light and darkness do need to exist in balance, mostly. But in practice, he was a great hypocrite, and hurt so many people in the process.

Braig seems to not care about idealism, it looks like it's a power play to him. "All these Keyslingers have a lot of power...therefore, I want one, too!" And to him it's easier to steal one than to try and earn his own. Loving to fight is probably a part of it, but I don't think he necessarily wants a Keyblade War unless it's guaranteed he'll win it. (Or at least not lose it.)
