Feeling a kind of stress compounding on me again, but we'll just do some art dumping instead.

Well, I've been poking around a little more on an Enchanted Tiki Room movie. A few people seem interested in it, and it seems fun to pursue, soooo I've been randomly sketching and typing up some stuff. XD (I haven't forgotten about Scratch and the Tooth Troll either...that's more on the backburner now, but I'd still like to keep putting out some content for it in the future.)

Just some sketches to try and figure out both their looks and colors. Had to guess on some stuff, since we never see the undersides of their wings.





Jose is a native of Mexico, a wild macaw who liked to watch the late-night parties in Mexico full of singing and dancing. A real ladies man...er, macaw, he had flings with parrots and cockatoos of all sorts until he met Rosita, the most beautiful cockatoo he’d ever seen. They carried on a beautiful romance until Rosita flew off to Hawaii. Jose flew with his cousin Juan to the islands after her. Jose has a love of music and dance, and the uncanny ability to come up with songs. His cousin Juan is very good at getting peoples’ attention and marketing his cousin’s abilities.




Michael is the oldest macaw, a down-to-earth bird who is good at helping people get along. A lover of all things green and growing, he has a kind heart and is good to all he meets. He also fancies himself a good singer...whether or not he actually is is up to debate. He is one of the few birds capable of reading. As a free-flying mascot of an Irish library, he decides to hop from cruise ship to cruise ship until he comes to Hawaii, seeking to learn more about these beautiful lands for himself.




Pierre is the former pet of a rich Frenchman who owned all manner of birds and traveled frequently. Pierre was accidentally left behind when the Frenchman visited Hawaii, but liked the weather so much that he decided to make the islands his home. Pierre fancies himself a pretty good-looking bird, and expects people to admire him. He is still struggling to get used to life as a free bird after being pampered and primped his whole life.




Fritz was the macaw of a traveling stand-up comedian in Germany. Hearing all these jokes (and sometimes being used as a partner in them), Fritz fancies himself a comic too, although sometimes his jokes fall a little flat. Apparently, it’s because he didn’t exactly learn from the best comedian...his owner couldn’t afford to keep him, and decided to send him to a bird reserve in Hawaii. There, he decided to leave the reserve and stake out on his own.


Probably more on that later. For now, here's also a dragon I finished recently.
