Snakes are yucky and talk too much

I swear, sometimes I just want to leave KHFFR forever. Or at least just punt out the idiots.

Anyways, moving on to cooler things. Got the storyboards done yesterday (unless changes are needed), and I've also managed to finish a few more things for 'Scratch and the Tooth Troll.' I probably don't have that much more to post for it since everything I'm trying to get done will be done by Monday. I picked two pictures from the beat paintings (5 and 6) and took them to a bit more of a finish:

Scratch is unfortunate enough to encounter the Worldsnake while getting through the Bottomless Forest. Getting a little testy without being able to find his tail.

Scratch is not able to get away from the Worldsnake in time. D: But don't worry, he is resilient and resourceful, and will find a way to escape from this situation! And with a little help later, he should be able to stop the Worldsnake, too.

Really, the BS philosophy was probably a worse thing to endure.

I like snakes that are small and mellow and easy to hold! However, a supergiant one would probably be unpleasant. (I also do not like our local snakes, which are neither mellow nor easy to hold, because they are rattlers. D:)

Trust me, it's freakin' awesome. The story was beautiful. ;__; I bought the limited edition KHBBS bundle back in January so I already played the Japanese version. I'm very excited for the English voices ~~AKA I hope Jesse Mccartney voices Ventus PLZPLZPLZPLZPLZ XDDDD~~.

I pretty much blew a month's paycheck on that bundle to import it ($300, ouch!). My roommates had to suffer by listening to me freaking out whether or not my KHBBS game got lost in the mail or something. It's too bad that it won't come out in time for Anime Expo. ;-; I want to fangirl with everybody!! I guess I'll just have to find people who also were nutcases and imported it in Japanese.

Ohhhh Terra and Aqua~~~ I'm wondering if they'll get big name people to voice them too. The suspense is killing me! Aqua better sound kickass in English too. >:D

Ohh ouch. XD The last thing I blew some paycheck on was a PS3, which I'm glad I got, since I was able to play FFXIII. I just want to be able to understand BBS when I play it, and I can't read/understand Japanese, so that would make it difficult. And yeah, I wish it was at least coming out by SDCC!

Considering it's Disney and Square, I'm betting they'll get big name people for them. XD And yesss, gotta sound kickass!

I suppose the only game I would be willing to buy a PS3 for is FFXIII Versus... only because I know the majority of the Kingdom Hearts team is working on it. XD!!!
My Japanese major helped me A LOT with playing Japanese videogames. XD The only times I don't understand is when old/serious characters are talking. They use such complicated vocabulary. x__x;;; The bad part is that they usually talk about the important plot points, which kind of screwed me over a bit sometimes.

I don't know if KHBBS will even make it by July, but I'm hoping! :D

I'll laugh if they get somebody as popular as Justin Bieber to voice in the game, lolllll. One of my friends joked that he sounded like KH1 Sora!

I haven't heard much on Versus or Agito, but I enjoyed XIII so I wouldn't mind playing them. Especially if the KH team is on them. :O

Yeah, I heard that quite a few of the characters in BBS used pretty formal/serious speech patterns, so that'd be tough to understand.

People have been saying this summer, and there was an (unconfirmed) rumor floating around that it'd be July 27th or so. Considering they'll probably do a big announcement around E3, it'd make sense.

No matter who gets it, the fandom will probably complain about it because BAWWW THEY'RE TOO POPULAR! I don't care as long as the voices sound cool. XD

I know nothing about Agito (except that the main character has an insane manicure, those nails were damn shiny in the trailer). They better come out with release dates for those games soon!

Wow, I didn't know KHBBS was infamous for that. XD I never knew! I need to replay those cutscenes again some time (Master Xehanort and Master Eraqus are so incomprehensible =_=) and look up each word with a dictionary. I was just too lazy to do so. I assume that the English translation will be just as fancy. :P

Ahhh, if only I could go to an E3 convention and go to the Square Enix booth~~~ I would die from happiness!

The funny part is that before KH2 came out, I was skeptical about Jesse Mccartney voicing a character.... and now he's one of my favorite VAs. GO FIGURE.

Yeah, it seems like it's taking awhile for it to come out. What is with porting PSP games?

I guess it also depends on how they're able to translate it...I don't think there's English equivalents to some kinds of Japanese formality? I dunno, I'm sure they'll figure it out fine.

I'm not planning on going to E3, but if they have a demo version at Comic Con, I'll be allllll over that...

I think you have a point... it is taking a bit longer than usual. They COULD be re-animating the lip movements for the English cutscenes. I noticed they did that for KH2 and KHDays. The problem is that KHBBS has A LOT of cutscenes. I don't think it beats KH2 but it's up there!

They did a good job with the script for KHDays (Luxord and Zexion had difficult speech patterns just like the Japanese! Haha :P), but I did notice they added more sarcastic humor and metaphors. I'm not complaining about more humor. XD

They have videogames in Comic Con? Then again, I heard that con has EVERYTHING.

I wouldn't mind having to wait longer if they were going to take the time to really make it nice like that (and I think they're adding some extra stuff in the NA version anyway) but I'd like to know one way or another!

I don't mind more sarcastic humor; maybe it's a way of making a character seem "snobby" or higher up than another. :O

Oh yes, it literally has EVERYTHING. And certain booths will have promos and demos...I plays Days at Comic Con before it came out here. XD

I totally forgot they were changing around things in the NA version of KHBBS! All I remember is that they're making cutscenes easier to understand (I thought they were pretty straightforward already but... o_O) and making Megaflare weaker (the overkill factor was glorious XD). I'm trying to convince myself not to buy the English version ... it's not working very well though. XD

I thought English!Roxas was way more adorable because he had those random sarcastic moments. Heck, even Xion got some!

;o; I want to go~~~~!!! I don't think I can find a ride down there though.

Awwww it would've been nice to have an overkill factor, but prettying up the cutscenes or adding new bosses/scenes is never bad. XD

It's the hardest secret boss in Days...a giant wyvern that does massive damage with every attack. And I never even tried the Lingering Sentiment. 8|

No kidding. There's usually tons of guests there, but I don't know when they finalize the guest list. Stan lee is always there. XD

I just looked up a video of the Dustflier on Youtube ......... WOAH, I never freakin' fought that boss before and I played the game twice! I was kind of wondering where the extra boss was during that mission since I wanted 100% completion... XD;;

I figure Stan Lee would always be there... he's like a THE American comic god. XD

Yeah, I had to fight him 'cause I wanted to unlock Sora for Days, and that mission and the Twilight Town emblem missions were the ones that caused me the most frustration. @_@
