C is for Cookie
In other geeky gaming areas, here is a pic of the Okami cookie I made, since I made a Sora cookie last year:

Ammy brings the sun! ~♥

I think it came out a lot better than the Sora cookie, but I'm still not at that the level of finesse and detail that my mom is with these cookies. Looking at it now, I think it would've been smarter to use piping for the outline and then fill it in with a thinner glaze, rather than use piping for the whole thing. (Also, my mom made a batch of black frosting RIGHT after I finished it with blue outlines, oops. :P)

Thinking about it, if I was able to get a lot more practice on these and got faster at them, it'd be fun to sell sugar cookies like these at a con. XDa

Also, I NOW HAVE DISSIDIA. HUZZAH!

...As long as the con would let you. ^^ A lot don't allow food to be sold.

Yeaaaah. XD My friends had the brilliant idea of making onigiri to sell. I keep forgetting to break it to them... Depends on the con really. Big cons are very unlikely. Small cons... depends if they've thought of it or not. XD It can also be a problem because it depends on the deal with the hotel if it's at a hotel, cause they often have catering deals with the hotel.

That is a pretty cookie, none-the-less. *_*

AND YAY DISSIDIA :D

I suppose it makes sense, especially if they have catering deals with the hotel (LOL EXPENSIVE CON FOOD), but that kinda stinks. Not that I get to go to that many cons these days as it is, but I thought it'd be fun and something different from the usual prints/buttons/keychains. XDa And thankee!

THERE WILL LIKELY BE COMMENTARY

Yeaaaaah. XD Trying to come up with stuff that's different from ALL the other artists is tough. :( ...man I wish I ever had buttons and keychains. XD; Haven't figured out a way to do that yet.

OHO *A* Awesome. :D

The one time I did do a table I just sold prints, and a few of them sold out, so I guess it's also in what the content is? XDa IDK I wish I had those too, though, I think they sell better. I know there's places about that have button-makers or keychain-makers, but I don't remember exactly where.

XD Yeah, content is a big one too. That can be tough too. I've had a lot of pictures I thought were awesome that no one wants to ever buy. XD sigh

Yeah, little things sell VERY well. Best I have is bookmarks. I bought a $30 laminator at walmart one day, and it was the best $30 ever. XD Bookmarks always sell. Yeah, there are things out there... I haven't found anything terribly affordable, but for buying an inexpensive press myself. Supposedly buying one is worth it and you do usually make it back, I gather.

Sometimes there's really no way to tell what people will or won't buy! @_@

I think so, especially if you attend multiple cons and regularly sell stuff, you're likely to make back the investment pretty easily.
