Cuteness attack

Got to hang out with

gaelic_bohemian a bit yesterday, which was fun 'cause we haven't hung out enough! Went to Malibu Seafood for an early dinner 'cause I had work, and had some pretty good discussions.

And as if dudes couldn't tell, I was all EEEEEEE YAY at all the new BBS stuff that was released yesterday, naturally. 8D HOLY CRAP ZACK. Soooo I had to draw a quick lil' pic of Aqua holding baby!Kairi, because they are just soooo adorable together!

And here's a little more Okami playage from the other day; I've been busy lately so I haven't gotten to it as much.

... Teeny tiny Kairi with Aqua is superduper adorable, yes. But what gets me about this update is without a doubt Mickey, for I am his biggest fanboy ever and forever and the more I see about this game the more I pity him, because dude: all these new kids he's getting friendly with? He's going to be the ONLY one left standing at the end. Aqua, Terra, Ventus, the whole of Radiant Garden, all will fall to darkness and he'll be the first, last and only line of defense against the darkness until Sora comes along.

... And now I'm imagining Mickey sitting down in a seedy bar at his downtime, drinking to forget and soliloquizing like Solid Snake on the nature of war. At least he has a snazzy metallic grey outfit.

I can't stop thinking that BbS is the first Disney collaboration game that will most likely have a downer ending(though, I guess they're gonna throw in some kind of "but there's still hope for the future!!" with a picture of lil' Sora or something) :(

But, at least he'll have Donald, Goofy and Minnie!! Surely, they can help him feel better...surely...

OOOOMG, I'm so excited that we're seeing more of Mickey too, and actually getting him as a party member! (Instead of that terrible tease in Days, when we barely got to see him at all.) But yeah, it says something about him that he's still able to keep his chin up and look all happy after what's undoubtedly going to be sad endings for all the heroes. 8(

That is a possibility...although really, has Mickey ever seen Roxas? He could have assumed that Ven got lost, and never realized that he somehow ended up in Sora.

... Well, having not actually PLAYED 358, but having heard that Mickey appears just for one scene, I wager that could be a reason Mickey never showed up much in that game: if he saw Roxas, his reaction would be a pretty dead giveaway to whether he remembers Ventus or not.

See, we have no idea if they met during 358, but during KH2 the only way they could have interacted was if they met somewhere in Twilight Town, which I think is not possible. Mickey arrived there from Yen Sid's tower, I presume... you know, what WAS Mickey doing in Twilight Town? I can't recall if they ever stated WHY he was heading there: did Yen or Riku tell him that was where Sora would wake up? I may be confusing manga and game canon now, but to my memory didn't Riku and Mickey meet up in Twilight Town when he first got off that train?

And to return to the point: no, I don't think Roxas and Mickey ever did meet one another in KH 2. By the time Mickey gets into the town, Roxas is already within Mickey.

Yeah, he's only in about two or three scenes at MOST iirc, and none of those are him interacting with the Organization at all. The only opportunity for Mickey to have seen Roxas in canon is when Roxas appears out of Sora right before Sora and Riku have to fight Xemnas, but I think Mickey went through the portal before he could have seen that. If he had the photo that Sora found of Roxas and the TT gang, that might be a clue. But otherwise, yeah, I don't know if he ever saw Roxas.

I think he was in Twilight Town specifically because Riku told him that Sora would be there, and Riku asked him to look after Sora? He might have gotten there by accident, or just from catching up with Yen Sid.

Yeah, that explanation sounds feasible. Just a stranger rolling up to town on his... star-dotted magical train.

Man I wonder if Twilight Town gets a lot of trains who just go way off into space and are never seen again. And if anyone ever finds it suspicious or if they just shrug their shoulders and goes along with it.

Considering the whole KH universe involves transportation to other worlds via either evil darkness portals or smile-powered spaceships made of candy, I get the sense that most everyone shrugs their shoulders and goes along with it!

Now I'm just hoping we'll see Ansem, Cid, Squall, Aeris/th and Yuffie. Oh, and Kairi's grandma!! I wonder whatever happened to her after RG fell and Kairi went to Destiny Island:O

Also, I kinda lol'ed at Zack's uniform, he looks so dorky in it XD And he and Ven looks adorable(lol, they're both big dorks XD)

but, at the same time, I can't imagine things ending very happily for him :( maybe I'll be wrong, but I can't help feeling like something bad is gonna happen to him :(

Yeah, I'd love to see the rest of the RG crew, especially since they'd be younger! And that's also a good question, we never see what went on with her grandmother...

He looks like he TOTALLY WANTS TO BE A TRUE HERO. XD

Well Nomura has said that BBS isn't going to have a happy ending, so yeah. :( Zack and Ven can form the DOOMED PREQUEL BRIGADE.
