I Am Not In Need
A question for all of the current-or-former Disneyland-employees on my flist:

Does anyone know if the "Get-Into-Disneyland-Free-On-Your-Birthday" thing also extends to California Adventure? As in, can you get into California Adventure free, or is it just Disneyland? Also, what do you need to do for that sort of thing...just show up with your ID?

On a completely unrelated note: man, whatever happened to [livejournal.com profile] wtf_nature? :|

I wonder if it's anything like how it is at WDW where you get into one of the parks with that birthday ticket and don't leave there all day, but if you want to go to another park, you have to pay the difference between a oen day pass and a one day park hopper to be able to leave. Then it just ends up being a huge discount rather than a free ticket.

Yeah, that's what I wanted to know...if you can just do one park all-day and that will count towards a free pass. :O Mostly asking 'cause my mom has never done CA before, and I figure there's enough there to entertain us, even if D-Land is better.

I don't see why they wouldn't let you pick CA over DL. It says you can get into any Disney park for free, but there's also attendance problems with CA and they might not want everyone going over there for free xD. Then again, maybe they should so people can see what's over there and possibly want to pay to come back.

I don't know, Disney marketing has always boggled my mind. I gave up a long time ago xD

Oh, does it? I must've missed that part; I wasn't sure if it was just for DL only or not.

And yeah, there's kind of constantly been an attendance problem due to DL >>> CA, which is probably why they're now trying to turn CA into Pixarland. XD

At least that's what I last heard XD. It might just be for WDW, though. I'm sure all that good stuff it at the website. I really don't see why you can't choose to go to CA, though, if that's your birthday request.

Yeah, Hollywood Studios over here is having the same problem, so they're also turning it into Pixarland now XD

Okay, looking at the website it looks like any park is a part of it (I hope) so I just went ahead and registered. XD
