I Am Not In Need
A question for all of the current-or-former Disneyland-employees on my flist:

Does anyone know if the "Get-Into-Disneyland-Free-On-Your-Birthday" thing also extends to California Adventure? As in, can you get into California Adventure free, or is it just Disneyland? Also, what do you need to do for that sort of thing...just show up with your ID?

On a completely unrelated note: man, whatever happened to [livejournal.com profile] wtf_nature? :|

Honestly, I think its just Disneyland. And you have to register your birthday on Disneyland's website in advance--but after you do you just bring the print-out of your registration and your ID. Also, if you are an annual passholder, get your name registered ANYWAY, because they will give you a gift certificate worth the price of park admission if you already have a Dland ticket.

Honestly? If I were you I'd register my name and then buy a 2fer ticket at the grocery store or something like that. Then you can go to California Adventure whenever you'd like and go to Dland on your birthday and get your money back in Dland gift certificates. ^_^

"and go to Dland on your birthday and get your money back in Dland gift certificates. ^_^" - but she doesn't get the gift certificate if she isn't an annual pass holder.

I've done it twice - once for myself and once for Teddy. You can go to Disneyland free on your birthday or you can put that money toward an annual pass or they will give you a gift certificate (but only if you already have a pass). I'm pretty sure you have to choose and cannot combine these options.

I'm not an annual passholder anymore, so all of that certificate stuff is sadly out the window. :x But it MAYBE looks like CA also still counts towards the birthday stuff, so I'll maybe try for that, and if not then hey Disneyland is just as good? XDa

Actually, it is possible even if you aren't an annual passholder. I bought a twofer ticket for my brother and he got the gift certificate thingy. And he's definitely not an APholder as he lives in northern WA...
