All in all, a good time was to be had! We took things fairly slow, which was nice, 'cause I got some sketches done. All done with ballpoint:

Early in the day we went to the otter enclosure, and the otters were having a blast swimming up against the glass and playing. They were SO CUTE.

Kinda failed at the okapi, ugh. D: But I liked the red river hogs quite a bit. They had four little baby hogs following around their dad! And I love their tufted ears.

Not nearly as cool as the polar bears themselves, who were engaging in a massive play-fight right up against the glass and causing all the kids to go OOOOOH and AHHHHH. So cool. *_*

Not like it actually held still that long, but in the corner is a lion-tailed macaque. At the myths and legends show there was a big ol' kangaroo, and I also drew emu feet.

Only got one sketch of one of the sea lions. And finally, a skink, which are pretty nifty reptiles. :3
The weather was nice and the crowds were manageable. We went to two of the shows: the myths and lore show, and the sea lion show, both of which were quite cute. Only bad parts were Rei was exhausted from dealing with moving crap, and as for myself, I think I pulled some kind of muscle in my right foot from that beach walk, because since Wednesday my foot has been in an unbelievable amount of pain. D: I pretty much limped around the entire zoo all day.
My heart goes out to all of the TP creators and artists affected by the goings-on with the company. All of your stories deserve to be finished and published! Here's hoping that all this means that bigger and better projects of awesome come forth as a result of it.
