An FYI to dudes of the internets: going to the San Diego Zoo tomorrow with Rei (possibly Em), so I'll be gone all of tomorrow and most of tonight. Squee, I love the zoo! And the San Diego Zoo is worth getting up uberearly for. I will likely bring my sketchbook and try to get in some good animal drawings.

Yesterday I actually took the time to go to the beach and just walked around for a few hours. The beach is so nice and I almost never go, because I'm a loser. However, I think I was walking too hard or stepped wrong in a few places, because my right foot is now in serious pain. D: Dammit.

I am trying to get into the habit of doing one speed painting every morning in the space of half an hour, just to get myself practicing it more (and practicing getting faster at it). We'll see if it actually lasts or not, as I always seem to fail at those kind of commitments. It helps if I sit down and do it before I actually click on the internet, though. Here's what I did today:



It's a lot harder to get something halfway decent in the space of a mere 30 minutes than I first thought. o_o Go figure.

I get doubtful every once in awhile, but I don't think my self-esteem is that low. Criticism doesn't really destroy my poor ego or anything. o_O

Sure. I don't get upset all the easily, and my life right now? I don't have much to get upset about. Mwah, we'll see how long that lasts. XD;

Right now? In Cali, it's actually very pleasant. We went through a heat spat a few weeks ago, but it's cooled off now. I feel so bad for you, East Coast! ;_; *sends love*

Depends on the force of the rain and the temperature outside. But yeah, that can be enjoyable.

Guilt-tripping and freaking myself out about graduating and my portfolio. My dad, who's having a miserable time right now. I need to make him a good Father's Day card.
