PHEWWWWWW. The last week's been pretty crazy, or about as crazy as sitting on one's butt most of the time can get. Let me explain...no, there is too much. Let me sum up:

- Stayed up superlate on Thursday helping everyone finish our final project for Matchmoving. UGH, SO GLAD THAT CLASS IS DONE. Discovered in the process that certain Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf locations are open until 11:00. Sweet.
- Finished all other projects, pretty much. You shall see them below, BEWARE.
- Saturday night went over to the Ranch for ghettopeach's b-day party. We had delicious foods (holycrap those brownies were so good), played Apples to Apples, and watched the finale of Doctor Who. Very good times!
- And then last night, went over to the Ranch AGAIN for a goodbye dinner for chobit001. We had homemade shabu-shabu, lol'd at things on YouTube, and then played Wii Sports and Brawl. Even more good times!
- Tonight is my final makeup class, which then means I get two weeks off! WEWT. We'll see just how much time I waste during then. XD; But at the very least, I need to start getting ready for SDCC.

AND NOW. As is per custom (actually not really) for end of term, I give a big dump of final projects and various other artses.





You've seen these guys before, but now they're in color. Shorty likes blue AND popcorn and killing your family.



And Bubbles! I also went through a few different color ideas for him, but decided that pink was best.



Not the full turnaround for Stripes, since somehow my files got totally messed up, WTF. You suck, little 2-gig transfer sticks.



And of course, Macy. Again, file got screwed up so it's only part of the turnaround. I suspect most of Macy is made up of helium.



AND ALSO. For part of the assignment we had to do some of the characters in action, so I had Shorty (and Macy) first meeting that one annoying police officer who punches clowns. Besides, I just wanted an excuse to include the killer popcorn some more.

Aaaand that class is OVARRRRR!



Woot, it's my final shot for Lighting and Rendering 2, aka Why Is This An Online Class. Again, a shot from that Pool Room 4 story Wyna and I worked on that I might eventually some day do something with maybe. There's also an animation with it (moving caustics and all) but I don't feel like uploading it.

All things considered, I'm actually fairly happy with this, considering I'm not all that great with lighting. (And the class was...yeeeah.) The modeling and lighting was all done in Maya, the textures were done with Photoshop and Maya. Rendered with Mental Ray.



This is the farthest I've gotten on the Wolf Spider, which wasn't for class or anything, just on the side. It still needs a bit of work. However, with that ZBrush class AND Hair/Fur/Mods class next term, I should be able to finish it up. :D





Aaaand one more: for our digital painting class, we had to do a production still scene...something fast and loose to get the idea down. Ultimately, I decided to do something from Lunargyros! I tried to do a little more with lost and found edges.

Obviously, some big spoilers. XD; I've wanted to do this shot for awhile, but it's not until the end of chapter five or so. Yes, that is Galen standing in the doorway, and no, it's not what you think it is. XD


And otherwise:
- Somebody please come see Kung-Fu Panda with me? ;_; Don't let the fact that Dreamworks can't market worth crap stop you! I've heard very good things from friends and critics alike!
- I cannot waaaaait for WALL-E, OMG. I want to go see it as soon as it's out! ...Except I might have next term's class starting that Friday, dammit. Then I want to go see it as soon as it's out AND I'm able.
- I want some actual dinner tonight, but I also don't want to spend too much money. Curses. :P
