Got about a half-hour or so before sculpture...and since it seems I CAN'T GET ANYTHING ELSE DONE despite all my time at school, I'll do some memes. :P

List ten things that recently made you happy, then tag ten people to do the same:

1) Just finding out that Lighting was canceled tomorrow. This means I won't have to get up early to get here, yaay! It also means a week of my vacation is gone, but oh well.
2) Joining daisychainrpg and the fun times that have ensued in the short time I've been there. Sora and Roxas and Namine are made of adorable, Axel is great, Marluxia is made of creepy CUUURSE YOU TEG and NOW THERE IS A GOOFY HOORAH. \o/ I'm having a lot of fun in this RP; I could go on. XD
3) Getting that signed copy of "Cinematic Titanic!" That was funness.
4) How my Balrog model has turned out, as I think it's pretty much done. So happy with it.
5) Sitting in on the storyboarding class for part of my Tuesday nights, and seeing the teacher explain how he did problem-solving on movies like Pocahontas, The Lion King, Aladdin, and Fantasia 2000. Getting to soak up knowledge from the guy who boarded some of my most beloved movies is amazing. *_*
6) I have a style consultation appointment this week, and best yet, a friend got it for me for free. I really need a haircut, so I'm actually looking forward to it.
7) My parents. They're so supportive of me all the time that sometimes it doesn't seem fair at all. So much love to them. ♥♥
8) Actually getting to put out Lunargyros twice a week. I wish I could do it all the time.
9) Because of all the rain, there's plants finally starting to grow back into the hillsides that were burned out last year, and the canyon's starting to look green again. ♥
10) Chocolate.

She picked: Global manga, Gnomon, Ocean, OGM Manga, Jerry the Frog Productions, ZBrush.

1/4) Global Manga / OGM manga - Since these are pretty much the same thing, I'll do them together. Manga created by people from all different countries (including America, Australia, Britain, whathaveyou) is awesome and I'm a big proponent of it...This of course has nothing to do with the fact that I occasionally draw it, too. :P I think it's a great way for artists to create stories with a unique mixing of different cultural sensibilities, and I think both the market and comics fans should be kinder to do. Go buy some! I can give you a list of stuff that rawks, and I'm always willing to hear more.

2) Gnomon - The school I am currently attending! I'm nearing the end of my fourth term here. Even though I have a sense of constant worry about how well I'm doing or presenting myself, this really is the most involved I've been at school and I'm leaning SOOO much. The teachers really know a lot and are easy to talk to outside of class, and I love that I can turn in fandom-related things for final projects and that we'll watch Disney movies during class to study how they're made. It's like geek school. (In fact, I'll probably miss it when I'm done!)

3) Ocean - The ocean is less than a mile from my home, and I can see it from my window! And yet, I don't go there nearly often enough. I've loved the ocean ever since I was little, although now I'm more of a wimp about going into that California cold current. About the only thing bad about the ocean is GIANT ISOPOOOOODS, but luckily I do not think those are nearby.

5) Jerry the Frog Productions - My movie and TV parody site! I do kinda miss it sometimes, but it was a great first venture into the realm of humor and the internets. I started it back in high school (actually taking the idea from another smaller puppet theater) and since then it kind of exploded from there. I think that's actually where most people know me from; I still get comments about it today. o_Oa

6) ZBrush - Ahaha, I just added that interest recently. XD; Just started taking a class for that program this term, but I've really had fun working with it. I don't know how good it is for "practical" 3D applications (such as making something that can be textured, rigged and animated recently) but it's really good for doing straight models or concept work, which is why I might use it more. It's a lot more intuitive for my creative brain than Maya is.

Also: Yaaay, Ratatouille! Congrats on winning "Best Animated" this year! XD Man, I was like ten blocks away from the actual Oscars, and I didn't even watch them...
