Curses! I got the crummy computer at work, so now not only is there no Firefox or AIM, there's also no music, and it's gonna make me go NUUUUTS. The weirdest thing is, the computer doesn't even seen to have a disc drive. I mean, obviously the disc tray is there to load CDs into and all, but the computer doesn't even list a D-drive in the "My Computer" section. How is that possible? D:a
Could be worse, I suppose. The computer could be running Vista. But I will be a sad thing without tunes to listen to or people to talk to. ;_; ...Or maybe this job just spoils me ridiculously; I don't know.
Oh yes, New Years stuff...my evening was quite fine; hung out with everyone at the Ranch, where we watched some Doctor Who and "Eternal Sunshine for the Spotless Mind" (although I fell asleep at the end of that one.) Em got a new DVD player that lets you play things directly off of a flash drive. :O Pretty nifty! Also that day, I went ahead and bought PW: Justice for All. XD Because dangit, these games are fuuuun.
Then on New Years Day, I drove on down to Disneyland for drawage. Man, if nothing else, going on the 1st was great because there was NOOO TRAFFIC. Although it was really kind of strange doing D-Land by myself...I've always gone with friends or family or some other. But I did get some pages' worth of sketches...they just happen to be on my home computer right now. :P Dunno whether I should try and do color finishes on any of them or not. Things I noticed:
- Both cast members and random strangers will stop and talk to you more if you're sitting still. I actually had a couple kids draw in my sketchbook 'cause they wanted to stop and draw, too. XD
- Speaking of, kids use their mouths more expressively than adults to.
- And speaking of speaking of, I suck at drawing mouths. D:
In the meanwhile, I guess I should really get to drawin' since I have the free time. Thankfully I also have PW. XD I just started the third case. A-and...I dunno what to think about Pearl channeling Mia. Except maybe D:. And dude, those psyche-lock parts were sometimes harder than the trial itself!
And almost forgot: there was a new Lunargyros page last Tuesday!
Drawing: Sketches
Writing: Stuffffffff.
