Merry Christmas!
A very Merry Christmas to everyone! :D Love and miss all of you that I haven't seen/talked with in awhile, and I hope your holidays are going great! Even though I woke up early today because of howling winds in the canyon this morning (blehh) today was still a good day.

While I'm thinking of it: just want to give lots of love and thanks to everyone who sent me Christmas cards! ♥♥ I loved getting those in the mail! And [livejournal.com profile] ayn504: thank you for that lovely drabble! ♥ I think I'll definitely try and do cards again next year, and they were lots of fun to do.

Got back from grandparents' place yesterday early afternoon! It was a good weekend there, and it consisted mostly of eating, attending church and me working on Lunargyros. XD; It's getting harder for even my parents to stay there since my grandpa has such strange sleeping hours. But all in all, it was quite relaxing. Heh, on the drive up there, I actually went and wrote up a long theorizing blurb on Birth by Sleep. XD I'll post it later, though.

For now,

First and foremost...
- I GOT A DS LITE AND PHOENIX WRIGHT OMG YAAAAAAAY!!! ♥
This excites me greatly because, while it's something I asked for for Christmas, I was not at all expecting to get it since it's an expensive gift and my parents are not fond of video games (although they respect my desire to possibly work in them.) But dude, I did get one, and a copy of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney from my brother! :DDD SO NOW I FINALLY HAVE MY OWN GAME OF LAWYERS TO PLAY, WOOO. I'm waiting for the DS to charge right now. ♥ It's a black and red DS, so I've named it Valor, for Valor Form!Sora.
- I got a little TV cabinet! (The box actually says "printer cabinet", but whatever, it works fine for my TV.) Much better than just stacking my TV up on cardboard boxes! And now there's a place for the DVD player and PS2, too! :3
- I got a new computer chair! It actually wasn't supposed to arrive until February, but it got here on time! Really excellent, because I was in need of a computer chair that was tall enough for me, and that I didn't have to screw back together every three weeks 'cause it kept falling apart. XD So yay! New chair!
- I got the 2-disc edition of "The Jungle Book" from my aunt and uncle. Woohoo!
- Cash from the grandparents; also very much needed!
- "Ratatouille" on DVD from my brother.
- A new large CD holder, again, something I needed.
- A "Miracle Ball" stress relief/exercise kit
- A chopstick and placemat set
- A 2-gig flash drive and paper cutter
- A little angel statuette
- A Mickey and Donald ornament (we get new ornaments every Christmas) and various candy in the stocking.

All in all, I was extremely surprised and happy with how much great stuff I got this year. And what's more, it was great just spending time with the family! We ate a huge breakfast of biscuits and bacon and eggs and fruit, and watched some of my brothers' DVD gifts, which included the first season of "Arrested Development" and the "Planet Earth" documentary DVD set. (I love nature documentaries, so my brother and I geeked out over his gift together.) I think everyone was happy with what I got them, or at least, I hope they were!

*hugs to all once again!* And if you don't see me too often the next day or two, it's because I'm engrossed in lawyering. XD

Drawing: Lots of Lunargyros!

Writing: Script for the same, plus the theorizing fun.

Yay!! (: I'm glad you liked it! ♥

Are you a Zelda fan? You absolutely have to get Phantom Hourglass for the DS. I haven't been had so much fun with a Zelda game since Link to the Past, which was what.. over ten years ago? xD

And Elite Beat Agents if that's your cuppa tea. :o

I fear I have not played many Zelda games...I've just done a bit of Twilight Princess recently, and I watched my brother play through OoT and MM when I was little. XD

I have heard that EBA is good stuff, though!

xDD That's okay! Phantom Hourglass is actually a sequel to Wind Waker, but it spends the first five minutes of the game explaining what happened in Wind Waker. You wouldn't be missing anything! :D

And, Wind Waker!Link is so much different than OoT and TP!Link. OoT!Link is SERIOUS BUSINESS and has no time for shenanigans, but Wind Waker!Link is a clumsy, lovable goofball and my favorite Link incarnation.

Wah, sorry for fangirling all over you. xDDD I'm not trying to convince you to get the game! Nope, not me. :D

EBA is excellent. They need to hurry up and send us sequels. :x I also really enjoyed Pokemon and Animal Crossing: Wild World, but both really require a lot of free time to play. And oddly enough, Brain Age and Big Brain Academy is really fun, too. My brother has been locked in his room with my DS trying to conquer Big Brain Academy the entire holiday. xD

*talks way way too much xD*

Yeah, just from the looks of the games they seem like very different universes. XD I remember everyone was all wanky about the look of Wind Waker, and then when they actually played it they shut up about it. ;D And loveable goofballs are lovable!

Nnnngh, my main issue is that yes, I don't have hours and hours to devote to gameplay. ;_; Or at the least, I suffer a huge guilt complex when I'm not being productive, I usually end up doing hours' worth of work before I feel okay enough to devote some time to playing games. And even then, I'm still sitting there going, "But I should be doing blah blah..." It kinda sucks!

I was actually wanky about it back in the day too! Shhhhh :x

I have the opposite problem. xDD I would much rather play a game than work, and I only start to feel guilty the day before something is due. I should probably fix that.
