Second post, aaand...not much has happened since then. I'm at work right now, and will be until midnight tonight. At least everyone else will eventually leave so that I can blast Japanese techno very loudly. XD (Or as loudly as you can blast music on an office computer anyway...)
I've been trying to work out the details on that gas station idea to pitch to TP whether in the near or distant future. It's somewhat strange having to design a story around another's expectations...making sure it runs a certain length, that it appeals to a certain audience, etc. I've never really done comics where I've had to go looking for my audience instead of waiting for my audience to find me, and it's quite a bit more difficult. In many ways I would rather pitch the Christian werewolf story first, but I highly suspect that will not go over so well. However, that could lead me into a very long rant on Christianity and the comic book industry, which will probably happen when it's more appropriate. ;-P In any case, I'm essentially forcing myself to fall in love with the characters from this gas station story. While that may seem self-contradicting, it does sort of happen...the more I draw them, write them and think about them, the more I like them. It's just a matter of forcing myself to draw and write them, which is the difficult part. But then again, pitching to TP depends on a lot of other things anyway, so it really is a shot in the dark.
I'm going to try and work on some of that tonight, as well as stats for my D&D character and a bit more fanart. It's amazing how much of your time gets sucked up my piddling around on the internet and dinky little computer games (or blogging, heh...) I find myself doing it all the time.
...And somebody just called who they can talk to to identify a particular kind of insect. Wow. You hear some weird things as operator. But I don't think anyone can beat that Chlorox lady.
Tsume & Toboe fanart completion status: 25% Need to put on the rest of the base colors and begin shading!
Kingdom Hearts completion status: 90% End of the World, here I come! XD
Maya PLE comprehension status: 10% Stuck somewhere in the middle of NURBS modeling. This may take awhile, folks... T_T
