And because I forgot to mention it last time, a friendly public service annoucement:
If you haven't seen 'The Incredibles' yet, then you absolutely MUST go see it now, under penalty of exploding puppies. I saw it last weekend, and it was just as good as I was expecting it to be. I loved all the characters, and it managed to be hilarious and thrilling all at the same time. While it may be disguised as a "kid's movie," it's really more for adults than you'd first think. Very interesting message, and DUDE, Vicini from "The Princess Bride" is a voice actor in it, so now you have no excuse. I adore everything Pixar has put out, and I can't wait to see them make Disney beg for mercy. XD While I'm sure that place is not perfect, for the moment I continue to live in my fantasy of Pixar studios being this happy little island of insanity where employees are actually NOT treated like crap, and because of this, they make cool stuff. Go figure!
We also watched more Wolf's Rain for the first time in awhile on Wednesday, which was a real treat considering I was craving. Despite rumors that the ending is really depressing, I am enjoying this show immensely. (And probably even more so because I'm not watching the dub!) Hmmm, a Wolf's Rain thumbnail theatre may be in order once I complete the series...
I also neglected to mention this awhile ago, but if you're wanting in something to do, go and read through all *2000* comics of Dragon Tails. The comic just recently finished (for now), and if you think 2000 isn't enough, this guy churned one out EVERY DAY without fail, rain or shine, sickness or health. Never missing a deadline is practically UNHEARD OF in the webcomic world, and this guy definitely deserves a break from all his hard work. So go and give him some praise and maybe a buck or two! ^^
Le sigh, I suppose I should actually get to reading for homework now...grumble grumble...
Oh yeah, and the article I wrote for my Journalism class got into the school's paper! Spiffy.
Operator status: Manageable
Maya PLE comprehension status: 24% ...And as a result were sent to 56k-modem hell!...
Macromedia Studio comprehension status: 45% Worked quite a bit yesterday with Fireworks in several attempts to make some good-looking vector-based graphics. Had a few successes, and even more failures, but at least I learned a lot...
Website reconstruction status: 60% Even closer to being doing, woohoo! XD Yesterday I worked hard and finished several pages, spruced up some old ones, and spent a lot time fixing a huge mistake that popped out of nowhere. o_O; Now it's on to creating a bunch of new graphics for the William_2022 and Lunargyros sections, and setting up those pages nice-like. ^^ Also, since I have decided to go ahead and add a forum, I must begin to get that together and test to make sure it works properly...
Drawing: Inked some more Lunargyros pages, and will probably work more on Kingdom Hearts 2 fanart during class today. XD
Writing: Well, I haven't gotten much done on the Van Helsing script like I hoped...homework's still taking up most of my time. T_T
