...Now happens to be work, it seems. Oh well, at least no one's calling me. *sneers at phone*

The internship is still going on as ever. Usually work there consists of lots and LOTS of copying scripts and model sheets. I swear, that studio eats rainforests for breakfast...and it's a small one! I can only imagine how much paper they go through at a larger studio. o_O

However, I've also been doing more drawing in the artists' room! I'm still getting the hang of cleanup, which is a bitch and a half. It's like trying to ink with a pencil, except with the need to be about 10x more exact. Lots more concentration required in a single drawing than I'm used to. According to everyone, it takes a lot of practice to get right, so at least they're giving me the benefit of the doubt and letting me start now.

What's super-fun is that they were short a prop for one of the shows, and I asked if I wanted to take a crack at it. A few rough tries and cleanups later, one of the producers said that he liked it, and they put it in with the rest of the props to send to New York for approval! Coolness! XD

And since they let me keep the failed cleanups and roughs for posterity, I now present to you: the first drawing of mine ever to (maybe, possibly) be featured in commercial animation!

It is Osaka-chan's birthday today! *Gives her big hugs* We're celebrating tomorrow, since Rei-chan just flew back in from Louisiana today. She gave us all Mardi Gras beads, wee! With all the craziness going on tomorrow, I hope I can finish the comic pages by then... *panics*

Oh yes, and Monday amazingly freed up for me, so I'm going with V-chan to see Episode III for a second time then. We'll both be taking notes: me for the puppet show I'll need to start, and her for the AU-fic she's been obsessing over. *Points at V-chan and laughs*

Operator status: It's Saturday night...I'd be *worried* if bunches of people were calling me.

Drawing: Two more pages of the comic submission left to tone and letter! I'm going through this a little too fast for my tastes, but better I have something to show them than just a bunch of unfinished pages. Arrrgh, I'm getting really really nervous now. I think I'll be glad when these are done and I can go back to working on whatever I want...only to have to do more submissions for AX and CC in a few days. @_@

Writing Finished the guide part of Hollow Bastion; am now working on drawing the maps. I've already gone through 20 pieces of paper and have barely covered a third of the level...holy cow, the dang place is HUGE.
