So since finishing Days, I've been spending most of my time drawing and such, which is why I've been boring again. But I'll post some of that in just a smidge (especially since some of it is fanart).

Thursday I went to the Gnomon Employer Preview Days, and got fairly good feedback, although some of it mixed. I've mostly been doing and redoing art for the Disney TD program again, but I'm not going to share most of that here since a lot of it is just sketches that aren't done yet.

Friday I actually went to go see the Toy Story doublefeature in 3D! Except the internets lied about what time it started, so we got there slightly late, which means that I missed the Toy Story 3 preview. 8( RRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHH CURSE YOU INTERNETS. But the movies themselves were fun! It was so interesting seeing the rather BIG difference in modeling/texturing/animation between 1 and 2. It's something I never ever noticed as a kid, but now having studied how all that goes on, it's really obvious to see that they had better tools at their disposal for 2. I actually think the story was better for 2 as well, which is interesting considering it went through such a harsh rewrite. (Then again, I guess 1 went through a big-time rewrite, too.) The idea of TS3 is slowly growing on me, though, so we'll see how it goes.

Also went and saw The Persians with the family on Saturday, since my brother designed and built the set for it. I thought his set was the best part. |D

OKAY, I said I would do a full report on Days, and this ended up getting kinda...long. 8D; No seriously, it's a massive herd of teal deer all frolicking on the teal deer farm. It's also got spoilers, so proceed with caution. But having finished, this IS what I thought of the game as a whole!

Overall? I think it was a good game, but it was the weakest of the KH series thusfar. It had fun moments and was a sad tale for all of the protagonists involved, and it filled in some things characterization and story-wise. But it was more frustration than fun to play, and I think it's ultimately steered a little too far from what makes the KH series a great game series. So if you're a huge KH fan? Sure, get it. (and if you live close to me, get it so I have someone to multiplayer with!) If you're a casual fan? Probably don't need to bother. If you're an Organization fan? Yeah, you'll like it. I'm not an Organization fan, so while I enjoyed its moments, it's still mostly neutral for me. I'm glad I played it, but I'm probably not going to replay it anytime soon.

In the meanwhile, I'll be drooling in a corner waiting for Birth By Sleep to come out! More Disney character interaction? YES PLEASE. New Disney worlds, especially of really classic Disney? DO WANT. Origin stories on Xehanort, the Keybladers, Mickey and even the Princesses of Heart? IT'S ABOUT TIME. Interesting-looking characters and gameplay that all signs point to being really flexible and fun? SIGN ME UP!

Yeeeah, Days has been a nice distraction, but it's also just made me want BBS even more. 8D

So I made it a goal to finish Days tonight, since I've got lots of important stuff to focus on coming up starting HOLY CRAP TOMORROW, and luckily, I did finish.

OKAY SO I FINISHED. I will give a full-on report/final thoughts of the game as a whole tomorrow morning, when I'm more coherent. 'Cause I do have thoughts on all that. But for now, YAY I DID FINISH. MUST GO CRASH INTO BED AND BE BRIGHT AND CHIPPER TOMORROW.

Hey, sorry there was no Days update yesterday...I was having a really crummy day, feeling rotten about myself and my current situation, and I didn't have much time to play. Don't want to bore you with my big boo-hoo-hoo, so I won't get into why I was all upset and stuff.

Anyways, my dad is out of state to for a conference of some like, so it's just been me and mom at home. We had a pretty good dinner of linguini and shrimps last night, so that was nice. ♥ (And sometime I need to watch 'The World's Fastest Indian' all the way through.)

I have seriously spent alllll day just printing and prepping stuff for Thursday, and I still have to put it all together, but that may have to be moved to tomorrow. Burning DVDs is taking a helluva lotta time. Of course, this has also allowed me to play a whole crapton of Days, and I'm still working on it now. So here's more babble, plus there'll likely be more tonight!...

Just wanted to give a quick hello to anyone that friended me through the DC friending meme! o/ Uh, at the moment I'm mostly just blathering about KH: Days, since I'm playing through it.

I have also been printing out stuff for the Preview Days on Thursday, only to discover my printer, Behemoth, goes through ink like water. Need to make a trip out and go buy some more, yet again. T_T (At least it's still cheaper than Kinkos.) And gotta pick up the pace in arts tomorrow, too.

I can't believe we've actually made it to this point, and that it really is ending. ;_; I was going to, like...write up a long introspection post on Daisychain, on everyone I've met there, on how much fun I've had, on what I've learned about modship and RP and communities, about how it's made me think about the characters I've played. But really, Kia said it better than I ever could here.

Maybe I will write something more on it, in the future, when I've had some time to think about it. Gonna go snuffle now. ;~;
