Getting the less fun stuff out of the way first...
Jobhunting continues to...well, suck. Still no reply from Tim. I sent off an email today to a small studio recommended to me that was accepting internships. I don't know if they're accepting non-college internships, though. I wish I already had the experience I feel like I'm still lacking just so I could ask for these studio jobs.
The receptionist job at the insurance company fell through, for whatever reason, I'll probably never know. Another admin assistant job also kinda never went anywhere. The latest thing the temp agency has to offer me is a full-time position as admin assistant at a construction company. Less pay and no benefits, though, unless they hire me as a permanent position. Maybe my hesitance is showing through too much, because I suspect the temp people know that while I may need such a job, it's not a job I want. I can't get excited at the prospect of doing grunt work for a company/industry I really could care less about. But I should still get something sooner rather than later...
Uuugh, this whole job thing has me a lot more down in the dumps than I would be otherwise. I don't know whether actually settling for a job will make me feel any better or worse. I suppose, if something better comes up, I can always quit whatever admin assistant job I'm doing then. I just hate doing stuff like that.
Aaaand more enjoyable...
Was supposed to mention this earlier, but this past weekend was

Seventh week of my Maya class was Sunday, so I only have two weeks left to finish my model! Need to work on it lots these next two Sundays. Hopefully I can finish it in that time without coming in for extra lab time, but if necessary, I guess I will. I think I've got a good start on it, though. (I think there's some people who haven't even started their model yet. o_O) Texturing will probably be the hardest part, anyway...
Been doing a lot of drawing lately, which may also be why I'm reluctant to get a job-thing...I rather like just working on my own projects all day. -_- Anyways, I'm about halfway through the Elf vs. Orc storyboard, so hopefully that'll be done soon. I'm just kind of playing the whole thing by ear and using my storytelling instincts; I have no idea if actual training would make it come out differently.
Also, I have completely caved in. I've started working on a Kingdom Hearts doujin. If nothing else, I'm making the excuse that it's helping me practice with Manga Studio. XD I just hope I'll be able to finish the thing...
Drawing: All that, and LG, plus I really want to start on Christmas giftarts for people. I want to do a lot this year! (And I also really want to listen to Christmas music now...
Writing:I need to finish betaing that chapter I promised...
