Well, despite the fact that I still have no job and haven't heard back from the insurance place yet, I've been feeling surprisingly good lately. I've done a lot of drawing over the weekend, and have just got into that groove where I'm drawing a bunch, and more importantly, happy with what I'm doing. I hope this trend continues!

First off, there's a new Lunargyros page up! Also, there's a sub-forum for Lunargyros in the main Wirepop forums, so if you're one of those forum-going-type persons, check it out! :D




This be some of the bare bones of my Maya model :O (sans the wings). I'm going to construct all of the scales seperately and then put them on top of the frame, instead of just tying to sculpt the scales around thin air. The frame is ploys, while I think the scales will all be NURBS, since NURBS have a lot smoother look. I think I perfer working in polys, though...it's more intuitive, and easier to fix if you make a mistake.



Lotsa character practice for the storyboard project/test I want to do. These actually aren't my characters, they (and the story I'm using) belong to the absolutely fabulous ursulav! It's Sings-to-Trees and Celadon Toadstool, yay! :D And holy hell, Celadon is fun to draw. I still need to figure out her armor (and maybe how the farmhouse looks) before I attempt storyboarding, tho. Having no real "training" per se, this should be interesting...



This one's kinda low on my priority list, but I at least started on the background and sketches for it! This is the Flash about the Galapagos Tortoise that I will hopefully get done at some point...



Okay so.....yeah. I totally caved. I DO NOT HAVE TIME for this, but I'm making the fic into a KH doujin. Because I want to, dammit. And this be the in-progress cover. DUN DUN DUUUUN.


Drawing: All that, plus penciling/inking the next two LG pages (getting to the fun part, wee! I'm excited!) Plus I finished scifichicx's art trade, and various other art thingies. I love being in a good drawing spree, even if it's for five whatevers at once. Oh, and I know for sure I am enrolled in the life drawing class starting in January. ♥ Then maybe my anatomy will suck a lot less, yaaay!

Writing: Finished that SPORK OF DOOOOOOOM.
