Yes, one of our cats, Portia, got out and is now missing. We haven't seen her for several days, and are all really worried about her. ;_; I hope that she's okay...in any case, we've done nearly all we can. We've got out to look for her on occasion, put up posters around the neighborhood, contacted the local shelters and pet stores, and now we have out special cat traps with food in them in case she comes around at night. Now here's hoping that one of those works. *keeps eye out on front lawn*
Moving along...
The infamous sporking of doom is done! The third part starts here. And as a bonus, there's fanpoodles gnawing on peoples' legs, and anonymice battling it out in a steel cage deathmatch! Fun for the whole family!
Well, I'm not certain whether I should show this concept art stuff I'm doing for the guy I babysit for. But considering this is just prep sketches for prep sketches for prep concepts ad infinitum, and would probably get changed over a million times, it should be okay:

I was trying to do a more simple, "American" style for the concept art, and discovering that I have issues with eyes. I'm not really certain what style to go with. I'm thinking I'm too used to a "manga" (using this term loosely) big-eye style, but I'm not certain whether the small pupils looks better. Anyone have any thoughts? Plus, I'm having WAY too much trouble with the girl character. She ends up looking too mature, and I'm realizing I suck at drawing *young* girls. Must needs fix that! Also, it was a little annoying, since the stuff he gave me for the characters was either very, VERY vague descriptions, or none at all. I had no clue what to do for the last kid, so I just made him the generic!nerdy!kid. I kinda liked him the best, though. This was just prep and ideas for the stuff he actually wanted, so I'll need to do that tomorrow.
I'm becoming addicted to the really old, disgustingly campy Disney stuff, like the now-defunct Disneyland rides and oldskool 50s animation with after-school-special messages. Might have to do with my fascination with really bad, MST3K-able sci-fi movies from the 50s and 60s.
I'm thinking about getting a paid LJ account. If I cancel my Wirepop subscription (which I never really use anyway) it'd cost about the same, plus I'd really like to have all those icons and a customizable mood theme and all that cool crap. Anyone with a paid account have thoughts on how much it is/isn't worth it?
KH2 countdown: 11 days! Holy CRAP! XD
Drawing: These concept sketches, plus I'm in the middle of coloring a fanart. Also started one of the pages for the pitch, but haven't gotten nearly enough done on that. Tim hasn't written me back, either. *grouch* Besides that, I started out five different pictures/fanarts that I want to work on but haven't finished any of them. Ugh.
Writing: Same thing for writing. Homework comes first, but random fic ideers pick at my brain for about five minutes at a time.
