New Lunargyros page today! Ooof, I still need to catch up on pages, and I don't know when I'll be able to next...

SO UH. I got a phone call out of the blue yesterday, drove in for an interview/introduction-type meeting today, and tomorrow I'm doing a first day test run at a new job! It would just be some contract work for about three weeks (towards the end of the project), but still! Work! I'll be doing animation and maybe some effects/compositing on a sci-fi/horror film at a small studio in Burbank. I drove past the Disney studios three times in my attempt to find the place. I'm nervous and excited! It looks like a lot of work, but also a fun crew of people for a nifty project.

I'm hoping that I'll pick up on how they do things quickly, and get along well with everyone there (lots of nerdery, which is cool with me, but also a definite boy's club, but I was expecting that.) I'm also hoping I'll adjust to the "culture shock" of sleeping-in-unemployed-time to 10-hour-days-plus-commute-time. But I think I can do it.

So uh, yeah. Work for three weeks. YAY \o/
