On Saturday
gaelic_bohemian,
corrielle,
scifichicx,
estelofimladris went to Disneyland again, or more specifically California Adventure. I'd only been to California Adventure once before, and I'd already paid for the ticket anyway, so hey, why not go? We spent some time at the animation center at the Hollywood section, which is obviously my favorite part since it's full of all the oldskool animation stuff and concept art that's great fun to look at. After we finally met up with
scifichicx and
estelofimladris we went and did a bunch of the rides, including the big roller coaster with the loop, the white-water rafting ride (which is way too much fun) and the Soarin' Over California ride. I love that they even put smells on the ride, so when you're "flying" over orange groves it actually smells like oranges. XD We also kept trying to go on that new Monsters Inc. ride, but it broke down just as we got in line, and it never did reopen. Curses!
Otherwise, we just wandered around and bought food and talked and laughed characters and fandom until our sides were sore (and my feet were sore, because I have no good shoes). I've decided that I really love going to Disneyland, even after doing it all the time...I'm such a total sucker for how clean and sparkly and fake everything is. I'd go there all the time if it wasn't so expensive and didn't make me so sore by the end of the day. Although speaking of,
gaelic_bohemian and
corrielle bought annual passes, so they'll probably be going back more often. Someday when I'm rich and famous off of drawing (haha) I'll buy the premium annual pass and go and eat brunch at Disneyland just because I feel like it, mwah!
We left a little early and ate dinner at Denny's ('cause hey, way cheaper) and then stopped by
estelofimladris's house for a bit and met all her cool pets before we had to head home again.
And blar, I spent most of yesterday doing homework, particularly trying to get Flash and Dreamweaver to play nice and not succeeding. XP Stupid Flash not knowing exactly what I want to do and telling me how to do it...I need to tackle more of it later in order to get part of the website project done by Wednesday.
estelofimladris and
scifichicx also hung out for a good portion of the day. Ooh, and we also did another Artist's Way meeting with the whole group, which are always fun. X3

KH2 Countdown: 44 days!
Narnia puppet show completion status: 42% Didn't get the chance to work on it because of Disneyland and stuff, but I'll definitely finish it by this next weekend.
Operator status: Busier than I'd like, but what do I know?
Drawing: Mostly working on graphics for my website. I finished the animation for the intro page, now I just need to put it together and make sure it looks okay.
Writing: I need to finish the profile article for Journalism, but I so do not want to work on it right now it's not even funny. *grrgrumblemutter*
