So I'm *supposed* to be starting this next semester come Monday, but it's barely even a blip on my radar at the moment. I went to the bookstore today to buy books (um...obviously) but I only found half of them there, so I'll have to get the rest online. Le sigh. At least they'll be significantly *cheaper,* even with shipping costs, although then there's the issue of getting them in time for classes. And woah, watch me still not caring! XD

Well, we discussed the whole rent-and-moving deal, and the *new* bottom line is that we will not have to move. In the grand scheme of things, we *should* have enough money to last us for three months, since after those three months Neko can move in with us and we'll be doing okay again. Money will be a little tight for the next few months, but still manageable. Heck, if I need to, I'll give extra just so that we don't have to move! I'll just have to definitely cut back on food expenditures, and not buy anything for myself, especially if I want to save for con season. Um, except for Kingdom Hearts 2. And all the OEL manga I want. And maybe some of those books I wanted for Christmas. (Well damn, *I'm* screwed.)

Speaking OF manga! We went to B&N yesterday, and shock of shocks, they had multiple copies of "Roadsong!" So I bought it and read it and loved it and GAHHHH I want more now! Come on, jou, listen to my highly unreasonable demands and get out more chapters! XO

Also, I was going to complain earlier about the new Manga Online not being up...except now it is, and it's got the first chapter of bettinamarie's 'My Cat Loki,' squee! ^^ And, and, and more Peach Fuzz and Fool's Gold (which is getting freckin' awesome and I'm still envying the art) and Riding Shotgun! I've also found myself really enjoying Sea Princess Azuri, and the latest chapter of Dogby Walks Alone just made my head explode. *does dance of joy for newness* However, I am sad that there seem to be no updates for Sorcerers and Secretaries, Juror 13 and Re: Play...

In completely unrelated news, I got an email today that totally made my day. :)

Aaaand this just in: saiamander just stopped by to drop off the copy of FFVIII and GameCube-to-Gameboy Advance convertor that I got! Thank yoooou! XD *resumes happy dance*

Drawing: Made some edits to the two toned pages I sent away, and I started on the third. Will hopefully get more done on it this weekend, when I'm not playing FFX with corrielle or seeing "Brokeback Mountain" with sir_snarksalot ;) Also have been doing character profile pages for pitch, and may start on an all-pencilled pic for a dA club contest.

Writing: Slacking on that for now.
