Shell-shocked
As I was walking to the studio this morning (I normally park about six or seven blocks away because parking is terrible here) two cars slammed into each other about five feet from where I was standing...in fact, if I had arrived at work 30 seconds earlier, I probably would've been hit by one of them. Nobody was hurt badly, as both people got out of their cars, looking about as shaken up as I was. I gave them my name and number for insurance purposes and went on my way, but I'm still jittery about it. Drawing some more storyboard stuffs made me feel a little better, but not that much. I think I'm going to take my time driving home today...getting past this or that car just isn't worth your life or limb.

Hmmm, now for better things...

This weekend was both busy and not, although these next two weeks before AX are going to be even more insane. Father's Day I went out to eat with the family at this really great Italian restaurant called Buca di Beppo (did I spell that right?...) and it was quite yummy and fun. Mostly I just talked with my brothers about video games and Harry Potter, which was fun since I don't see them often. One of my brothers is graduating from high school (my old school, woo) so I'll be going to that.

Yesterday I spent pretty much the entire day finishing off Final Fantasy X, which I *finally* beat. Woohoo! I never managed to get Tidus's ultimate weapon (the lowest score I got on the chocobo race was 7.5 seconds) but I did get them for Yuna, Auron and Lulu, which I'm glad I did, since it made the final boss battles significantly easier. I kinda-sorta already knew the ending, but it was still very sad. The scene where Yuna is standing on the edge of the pier whistling for Tidus just about broke my heart. ;_; Gotta hand it to Nomura for making games with such great storylines. ;) Now this is the second game I've ever finished...woo! Lots and lots of funness. ^^

Now that I'm not longer occupied with summoning aeons and blasting the living crap out of bad guys with Holy, I do need to be getting back to work, especially with so much crazy stuff coming up. I need to check and see if they have a schedule up yet so that I can at least have an idea of what I will and won't have time to do there. I'd also like to finish the Episode III puppet show before then. Also, the house *really* needs to be cleaned, which I'm going to try and do next week.

In the meanwhile, I'm being kept very busy here today...tons and tons of storyboards to be scanned for animatics. 18 pages down, 60-odd to go. o_O Also, I got business cards! I am so awesome and official, yar!

Scanning status: Lots left to go yet. Man, this brings back memories...

SW: Episode III puppet show completion status: 15% Haven't started on puppets yet, but hopefully I will today or tomorrow. Definitely by this weekend.

Drawing: Started working on KH animation; need to begin a few other things, too.

Writing: Almost done with script for RSOM 6 story idea...Wyna, you and I will need to go over it together when I'm done!
