D-Land report
So I slept in super late this morning because DISNEYLAND YESTERDAY WOOO. [livejournal.com profile] yamikonumber7 and I got up at 6:00 to get to the parks on time, and luckily there was no traffic there (Sunday morning woo). It was pretty cold and wet, though, although it got better as the day went on. There we met Cheryle, and her friends Caroline and Kevin!

We then proceeded to have awesome fun times! We were literally going the entire day on rides or meeting characters. Did Pirates at least three times, Indy twice, the usual staples like Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain and Star Tours (no Splash Mountain for me because BRRRR COLD), and met princesses and characters alike! Never been in to the Golden Horseshoe before, but we went in there yesterday and I split a sundae. Yum! Also, challenged Kia to a DDR-off, and then I went and picked 'Waka Laka' not realizing just how difficult it would be on heavy. Oops. :x

We ended up having a late dinner at the Blue Bayou, and it was DELIIIISHUS! That, and our waiter, Al, was pretty much the best waiter ever for putting up with our silliness. I got this spicy blackened salmon and it was soooo good. There were also delicious desserts to be had. Afterwards, we watched the later showing of Fantasmic and managed to get pretty decent seats for that. They didn't have the dragon up though, sob.

After more rides, we finally bid a fond farewell. Of course, there were adventures in getting back home as well, since for some reason the entire 5 Northbound was closed off, and I ended up getting lost on the 91. 8| Luckily, fate was with us and Kia and I made it back sometime after 1:00 AM.

So PHEW! It was a full day, but it's been ages since I actually did the full day at Disneyland from opening to closing.

Have some drawings I did there below:

Photobucket

Some sketches while we were standing in line. Mostly moms and kids, since it was the line for the princesses. Kids have the funniest poses, since they don't really care what they look like to others.

This is a page of things! Actually started it awhile ago, but just finished it yesterday. Some of the things I like more than others, like that one just above the kilt-thing. I should do more pages of random things.

And for one final non-Disneyland related question:

I've been going back in Sora's game in RE: CoM and collecting a bunch of the cards I've been missing. I have most of the KH2 Keyblades, and all of the Organization except for Lexaeus. So does anyone know WHERE to find Lexaeus's card for Sora? I've opened every rewards room on every floor and couldn't find it. Also, I feel like Sora should also be able to find Ansem's card...anyone know where that is?

Drawing: This, FINISHED boards for now, and I desperately have to work on LG tomorrow since I'm now behind.
