I open my character animation project to do some work. And lo and behold, what do I get?

UNRECOGNIZED FILE TYPE :DDDDDDD

And do I have an ASCII version of it? OF COURSE NOT! Which means I get to redo hours' worth of animation! OH JOY AND RAPTURE AND SUNSHINE AND PONIES.

So much for getting home at a decent hour tonight.

You can't download the version you need? D:

It's not an issue of a missing version. D: It's basically an issue of "Unrecognized File Type" = corrupted file. ASCIIs tend to not corrupt as often as binary files; I've just been saving all of my stuff as binarys. DX

This tends to happen a lot less if you save everything twice, once where it belongs and once in a special backup folder. Not that this helps now, but it might avoid future issues.

Yeah, I should save stuff to my Flash drive more often, but I always forget to. DX (Or at least don't save stuff there until it's finished.) At least I've made incremental saves a habit.
