Oh man Comic Con is coming up reeeeeeeally soon...and the schedule is up, too! I've compiled a list of the panels I want to go to! It's highly unlikely that I'll get to all of these (especially since some overlap), so this is more a list of "stuff I'm interested in and want to try to get to."


Thursday
1:00 - 2:00 - Nickelodeon and DW Animation (I may bypass this one to go to the one that's specifically for the new Avatar show)
1:15 - 2:15 - Books vs. Graphic Novels
2:00 - 3:00 - 2D Animation Revolution
5:00 - 6:00 - Figure Drawing for Media
6:30 - 7:30 - Indie Comics Marketing (useful for LG maybe?)
8:30 - 11:30 - Star Wars Fan Film Awards (Definitely want to make it to this since an old coworker of mine entered a film into this; want to see if he wins something)

Friday
12:00 - 1:00 - State of the Animation Industry
4:00 - 5:00 - Effective Posing in Art
5:00 - 6:00 - Building Your Portfolio
6:45 - 7:45 - Rifftrax Live (I may forgo the earlier panels to try and get to Rifftrax Live this year; because I missed it last time and I dunno if the portfolio panel is going to give any info I don't already know)

Saturday
2:00 - 3:00 - Why We Create with Don Hahn (Like the only good Disney panel I see this year!)
3:00 - 4:00 - Creator-Owned Comics
4:00 - 5:00 - Nickelodeon Avatar Panel (about the new series!)
8:30 - 11:30 - Masquerade (I like just hitting up the overflow rooms for this)

Sunday
10:00 - 11:00 - Axe Cop
10:00 - 11:00 - Young Justice (man I dunno which one to go to...both have about the same level of interest for me, and both panels include a really cool person on the panel...)
11:00 - 12:00 - Storyboarders/Comic Artists


So some fun things, and some stuff that'll hopefully help me with boarding or figuring out how best to publish LG, I think. |D I dunno if anyone else will want to go with me to most of my panels, except for probably the late-night ones like Star Wars, the Masquerade and Rifftrax Live.

Yeah, that's my assumption, too. :P Wish I could go to both, but at least this year, can't make it to D23. (Plus, don't you have to pay for a crazy expensive membership for it?)

'The power of darkness prevents entry' cracks me up... I love how 'darkness' in this case is just a multipurpose phlebotinum word because SOMETHING had to prevent entry.

The mood whiplash between Roxas' last scene and Sora's awakening always gets me. But...I can live with it because this is where the game actually starts! Actual gameplay is a nice change from 'walk two steps --> cutscene', right?

Yeah, that is quite a change. And it is...sucks for Roxas that he doesn't get nearly as much fun gameplay!
