There's a new Lunargyros page up today; read it here.
So apparently Satoshi Kon died, which is really depressing news. :( He wasn't that old at all, and it's sad to think we won't see any more of his films. Maybe I should replace one of the movies on my list with one of his (I still haven't seen Millennium Actress, for one thing).
Good Night, And Good Luck
I figured I would like this one, since I've always been kind of interested in the McCarthy era and the red scare. I will admit, though, that it was a little boring...the most interesting parts were what they actually culled from Real Actual History, with the war of words between McCarthy and Murrow. It was a sort of journalism that you don't really see anymore, except maybe in the word-wars between political pundits, but even then it's not quite on the same level of honesty.
I did like the music (which wasn't that much, admittedly) and the black and white look of it...it was very graphic and full of contrast, as if you were watching a newspaper.
Drawing: Still more LG; no time to get to more today

Days until BBS release: 14 (TWO WEEKS NOW)
