I didn't even know the author showed up and started flipping out all over the place until I checked F_W an hour ago. Before it just looked like run-of-the-mill-whutever rant to me.

Although as far as wanks go, this one's pretty small. (Did the whole Gin and Sin wank ever even make it to F_W? I can't recall...) I guess F_W is going just as slow as KHFFR if they're picking up reports on that? Or maybe the fact that it was author vs. OP made it of interest.

Yume pointed out the interesting fact that there wasn't a Wank Report made about KHFFR with that situation. It was just posted directly to F_W. HMMMM....

Well, straight FW reports that don't start at wank_report happen all the time, I'm sure. It just means the FW-poster was either a) a friend/flist acquaintance of the OP or the author, or b) a KHFFR member, which I don't believe they are. *too lazy to go check* But that is kind of strange...

That's what I mean XD. Why would you report your friend/flist acquaintance if they were involved in this? Maybe I'm the only person who wouldn't, but I dunno XD. It's gotta be someone watching the comm, either for wank or because they're a member and saw it happen.

I think the only other wank that made if to FW proper was that het vs. slash big debacle with antiyaoi getting involved, right? Man, I totally bypassed that one, too. XD; I never hear about the big wanks until after the fact!

Me too! XDDD I was like "wait, we got on fandom_wank? For WHAT?" I remember when that post was made, LJ went down so all I saw was hellos. Then I go back after it came up and it EXPLODED XD. I'm always missing all the wank XD

Well, on the positive side, it's only been on F-W three times so far, which is surprising considering how wanky it did get for a few months (and then it got quiet).

Oh yeah, I'm not worried about KHFFR's track record on FW...as far as that kind of thing goes, we've been good about it, even during our wankiest times.

It just took me totally by surprise since things have been quiet for awhile, and I wasn't expecting any of the more recent entries to generate wank...certainly not enough wank for a wank report.

Yeah, even when we do get a bit wanky at times, we are generally pretty good at avoiding FW.

Honestly, you haven't been missing much. I think this is the first time in a month or so that more than three rants have come through in one week. It's been extremely quiet. I'm sure that'll change with 358/2 Days and BBS, but they're both months away.

When I first read that entry yesterday I was like 'hee hee, another rant about silly names', then there was Lostscore's thing with RAWRRR I HATE TRIVIAL RANTS RARRR PERSONAL EXPERIENCE and got confused.

Then today when I visited Fandom Wank it was like BRITISH HOMOPHOBIA IS TOTALLY HARDCORE YO and I was like bzuh?!

I didn't even realize that Lostscore's rant was in reference to the rant just before it; I thought it was an in-general thing. My brain was probably too dead from the PW. And then yeah, was not expecting it to suddenly jump into British homophobia or whateverthehell the OP was...trying to say. DX; I guess just goes to show that wank can spring from ANYWHARE.

Although on the second page of FW, it looks like a mouse has shown up to stir trouble with seemingly nothing that has to do with the actual wank. Thiiis should be interesting... Although if anymice wanking in FW is from KHFFR, I'm gonna have to bust some asses! XO

I didn't either, that's why I just went ahead and approved it figuring it was just something I didn't understand or know about that happened else where. Then reading the comments in that post made me go back a post to see if anything happened because it sounded like they were talking about something THERE that happened, and lo and behold there's an edit to the post and a pissed off author. Oopsies XD
