I'm not directly on the coast; we're actually up the hills that are by the coast...so it'd probably take a tsumani of a couple hundred feet before we started getting wet. I don't even think the beach houses are that worried; they've had larger waves before. But yeah, I know how that goes with worry about some big thing in a friends' area.
