Three's a crowd? Maybe not...
Watch out! It's...it's another fanfic post! I finished this last week, and just wanted to give it a little space before I actually posted it. Because...yeah. New and crazy territory here. You have been fore-WARNED!
Title: Fit for a King
Fandom: Kingdom Hearts; specifically post-KH2. Same timeframe/universe as the previous fics. Sora/Kairi/Riku.
Rating: NC-17, or M or ZOMGnotforchildrens.
Disclaimer: Totally not mine. Don't sue, please.
Summary: Sometimes the lines between affection and competition are not so clear.
WARNING: It's a threesome. Yup, I have officially crossed the line of general normality. And not just because it's practically canon anyway. So if you're underage or of the like, please steer clear. Thank yeeew! *Ducks into a corner and covers her ears*
( OMG SOREO )
*Peeks head out* ...Everyone still alive? Good.
Otherwise, I've been working all day on the small animations for the portfolio site. It took me much longer than I anticipated (naturally) and I still have one animation left to go. Since it's the one that's actually supposed to be interactive, that's the one that's going to give me the most headaches. I hate being reminded of how much I suck at programming. >.< The animations look smooth and hand-drawn, but they also look terribly pixelated, and for some reason the color layer won't match up exactly with the lineart layer when it's actually put together. I'll have to figure out how to fix that later, but for now these things'll just have to do. Although now I kind of understand why everyone uses the more stop-motion approach to Flash than frame-by-frame animation...it's *much* faster and looks cleaner. Hrmmm.
I think I've just decided to let go on all the huge amounts of crap I wanted to get done this week. I really did assign myself too much, and there's no use worrying about it if I'm already working hard. So since the website is the main thing that's due, I'm going to focus on that first and foremost, with the articles for Journalism my next priority. If have the time left, I'll get to the other assignments. Cleaning will just have to be put on hold for awhile, and that I'll do with other people anyway.
Oh, something else cool! I am the subject of an article written by Kris McFarland, who is a cool dude. The article's about deviantART and getting exposure through online art communities in general, and you can read it here. You can also read more articles from the same class here. So very awesome! *beams*
KH2 countdown: 30 days! Exactly a month! :O
Drawing: Lots and lots and lots of pictures for website animations and such. Also, I heard back from Tim, and I need to make a few more changes to the tones. *is definitely not surprised* But not that much, thankfully! I'll probably do those tomorrow.
Writing: My guess is that next will be articles for journalism, or novel chapters. Probably on the days I'm at work and can't do the website. *sigh*
